We hiked to the summit of Stetinden 6627 ft (2020 m) which is located in Jotunheimen National Park in Norway. It can be reached from the DNT cabin Leirvassbu and the hike to the summit takes about 2.5-3 hours (5-6 hours return).
We did two hikes on the same day. The first hike to Stetinden was technically quite easy. The second hike was to Kyrkja 6667 ft (2032 m) later in the evening. Our aim was to experience the sunset at higher altitude. We had the intention to reach the summit, however at 6299 ft (1920 m) we met some difficulties that took us with surprise. We got stuck at an exposed spot on the left side passage and eventually took the decision to return considering that the clock was ticking quickly towards night and we had been out for many hours already.
A bit of a curiosity possibly however worth to mention. Ali has been eating one meal a day (OMAD) for a few months now and experiences several positive effects from this way of eating, including increased amounts of energy, among others. He did not eat any breakfast nor any lunch during the hike and the first meal was the late lunch we had after coming back to the tent. That being said, Oistein only had half a small "lefse" during the Stetinden hike which worked out quite well.
The first part of the video was filmed with a Panasonic S5/20-60 mm/DMW-XLR1/Røde NTG5 and the rest with a GoPro Hero 10.

Yes ass - grattis med debut! Forstår siste kruxet på Kyrkja kan oppleves eksponert - hvertfall etter en lang dag i fjellet😊

Do you edit the video or just post the raw material. I can not find a way to make my videos visually more interesting. The colors I get are to white, yours looks warmer.

Hi, in this video I used (for a selection of the clips) a Panasonic S5 and shot in v-log. In Davinci Resolve I set the input color space and gamut to Panasonic v-log and the software does most of the magic. Some minor editing might be necessary though. The remaining clips were shot with Gopro Hero 10 and they required nearly no editing. What kind of camera do you use? Do you make sure that you’re not overexposing? And at last, make sure to set the color temperature to a fixed value when filming. For outdoor shots, 5500K is a good starting point.
