    Planned Work: Because of track replacement, there were no (A) Train Service between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts Blvd / Howard Beach-JFK Airport. (A) Trains ran in two sections:
    -Between Inwood-207th Street and Euclid Avenue
    -Between Far Rockaway and Howard Beach-JFK Airport
    Free shuttle buses provided alternate service between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts Blvd and Howard Beach-JFK Airport

    Why relay the A line down to the lower level? It’s more better for operators to leave out of the express track and crossover back to manhattan via wrong rail north of the station instead of sending it down to the relay where pitkin yard is. C trains can go down there, but A train service can just wrong rail out and head back to Manhattan via express. Maybe late nights it can go to the relay and then get back out via local

      The Manhattan bound express track was being occupied by a work train so the A could only use one express track to relay. And with the C running every 12 minutes, they let the A use both relays. As for the switches west of Euclid, they never touch that switch. Idk why
