- Eyo OMA here.
This is going to be a second channel of sorts, There is so much I enjoy doing that just doesn't fit in the @OMA_Monster page.
So OMA Too is going to be doing all the non gaming stuff I love, All the beach days, all the dumb stuff me and the extended family enjoy doing outdoors away from my setup.
This is just the first video of many to come on paddle boarding as I don't live close enough to anywhere I can surf so this is me experimenting with new water sports on my new @HIKS_SUP
(I'm thinking Windsurfing or wakeboarding should be added to the list. Just need to convince Dinky its a worth while investment)
I hope you enjoy the weirdness that is this video.
Just want to say how nice it is to see an honest first attempt, where you're not scared to show how wobbly and unsteady you were to start with. There are so many "first time" videos where they make it look effortless, and you know that it's not really their first time.
Yeah I mean i wanted it to be real.
I hoped to do more but the board broke the very next time I went out.
I also was informed by a couple of very friendly paddle surfers at the beach that the board I had was super unstable 🤣
Hopefully eventually I can get a new board or maybe another waterspouts to do more stuff on.
Thank you so much for stopping by tho ❤️
Easier than most people think..
stand over the handle (balance point), bend knees to lower your height by 4 inches, pull forward and *glide*..
Repeat..
Never stop..
Très bien pour une première fois, j'espère faire aussi bien que vous 🙂😁 Belgique 🙂
The sea legs and endurance comes quick!
Think ima need them to come quicker 😂
@@OMATOO-lh4or I bought a cheap balance board from Amazon. The kind with the big tube roller you balance on. It helped me massively. Its fun to mess around for a couuple of minutes every day.
I think you both done extremely well seeing as it was your first time on the board. And it doesn’t look like the most stable of boards either. Just keep at it and you’ll get there.
I don’t mean to sound boring, but be very careful of the wind, as most people are not aware how dangerous it can be on a paddleboard. If there are offshore winds , then it can drag you out to sea.
Thanks I really appreciate it😊
So it turns out the board is extremely unstable 😂
My bud bought one and it's supposedly far easier to stand on.
So a new board will be in order, especially as somehow this one sprung a leak round the pump hole.
@@OMATOO-lh4or A 32” wide board should offer a lot of stability, although not all boards are made equal….
I bought an Irocker originally (last year) but there were an insane amount of defects on it, and eventually managed to get a refund on it after about 5 weeks of pestering (customer service is notoriously bad). After that I thought I wouldn’t risk it again and went with ‘Red’ paddleboards. They are expensive, and it might be more than you are willing to spend on a board (and I appreciate that) but you won’t need to worry about the glue coming unstuck and are extremely tough. The reviews are everywhere online to testify their performance, but here’s a link to show how tough they are 😆
Good luck with whatever board you decide to go with 🤙

@MyW1feNowDAVE il definetly be looking at another SUP because I truly live how peaceful it is.
But over the colder months we are looking at Wind surf (we picked up a job lot of stuff to give it a go) and potentially wake boarding as you can pick em up fairly cheap.
I started out on a 10'8" board and struggled. Moved up to a 12' board and haven't looked back since. Paddle just down the coast from the witterings at Worthing and Lancing. Keep practicing it does get easier, eventually 😄
You did so well. ! Bought my daughter one for Christmas this year :).
That's amazing!
I hope she is having a blast on it!
just a heads up....... your paddle is backwards ..will work so much better if you rotate it 180 degrees. cheers
Ow really 🤣
I was sure I got it the right way hahaha
@@OMATOO-lh4or Literally happens to everyone lol!

This is west wittering beach near Chichester
