I love these short videos...it's fun learning something every day.
We're glad you like these! There are more to come.
Thank you! I never knew this!
So that's how I ended up eating paint while thinking it was pudding... thanks lowes
We always save ours, we often need them in the future! We've also found that even if we don't someone else might. You're better to just save it!
Would like to know how trashing the paint mixed with cat litter is a good decision?🤔
OsakaRose thank you👌🏻
Thank you so much for this tip. ✨ Can i also use the same method with my clear acrylic emulsion? I accidentally spilled the can on the floor and wipe it with water. Now i have a bucket of it filled with mixed water and acrylic emulsion.
Wut if smeone throws oil paint away? Doesn't that effect the environment nd birds, etc.?
what about water based paint, stuff we used inside house said "water based"
That is Latex Paint that was referred to in the video. So you add the cat litter as suggested.
I'll save drops for touch ups or the next owner. All the other stuff is too much work.
Why use cat litter? Just open the can, let it dry for a day or 2.
Then throw it out. Or you can peel off the paint, and reuse the can.
and TURN the tin UPSIDE DOWN, the skin formed sits at the top, when you FLIP the paint over the top is now the bottom... now the skin is at the bottom
If you have extra why don't you just keep it? Wtf you used it and you don't want some on hand to do touch up?
Even in moving situations you store at the house you moved from
I agree about hanging on to paint for touch-ups. We repainted our house and covered all the paint of the old color that we were hanging on to, so we used kitty litter to get rid of the extra of that paint. We are now storing the extra of the current color.
YOU USED A PRESSURE CANNING JAR TO STORE PAINT!?!
Have you lost your minds?
Karen calm down
@lowe'shomeimprovement You just got Karen'ed!
No, Karen. You can't talk to the manager.
@@michaeldesanta4070 This is a 'need contact info for your manager's manager' level of wrongness.
🤨
😆😆😆
They did not say to then pressurize the jar. Just use the jar and canning lid, so there will be no issue.
