My dad (Wheelchair Dobro) and Joe spent many hours laughing, picking and sharing the gospel. Joe always shared his latest work with dad and the family was always so kind. My father had nothing but respect for these people.
I was able to see them in concert in 92 in Gastonia NC. I think the Greene's and the Hopper's were there as well. I was a very young Christian and all these songs drew me closer to God.

If you go back to the older interviews. Lily left him to be with her children. She stated that "they could reach a broader audience" and she pursued a career with them. Also Joe confirmed that she left to be with her children.

I wonder if he regretted leaving his wife...
Who is playing the harmonica? Is his first name Dwight?
Gary Dillard
I wish Joe were still with the family. They were much better with him.
Hate the dad is not with them nowadays.
I agree
where did he go?
Tina Horn he and Lilly we’re divorced in 1998
Joe Isaacs should be ashamed of himself for leaving Lily.
When did he leave?

20 years later? Do people bring up your sins from 20 years ago? Is that a statement the Lord would be pleased with?
@@sandyjuntunen4088 judging me for asking a question. Not cool. Not your place
