I feel like I only survive 5v1 out of pure spite and a little luck. It helps to get on the rafters even if the archers are cleared away. Just finished downloading Elden Ring earlier, and will definitely wait for the countdown to hit zero.

damn the last time i got a 5v1 it was because 2 blues joined at the same time in a dried finger world where the host already had 2 summons, they then trapped me in a corner and proceeded to take turns fucking me in the ass

yep. With the dlc weapons (bone bow sleep arrow cancer) out now, it's crazy how good ds3 was for pvp. If only they fixed the fap glitch and stuff like that.
6 players in a world. You can invade a solo player and aren't forced against a gank every single time you play.

To reset his poise health, look up videos on how it works, it's important to reset it in order to not get staggered
