I totally remember ALLLLL of these LOL I love fragrances from the 80s as well...that is when Dior Poison and Obsession came out so it was a great decade for fragrances!! Great video! ❤️

My favorite 90s fragrances were CKOne, Vanilla Fields, Bath And Body Works Country Apple, Bath And Body Works Cucumber Melon and Bath And Body Works Sun Ripped Rasberry.
YES!! Those B&BW scents are pure nostalgia. I wore them like they were going out of style. I bought some Cucumber Melon again around 2016 when they brought it back. I like to sniff it every now and then when I want to be taken down memory lane.
I loved the gap scents dream and grass! I wish I could still find those today 😊
Those Gap scents were all delightful. I wish they would bring them back!

Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers was huge. So was White Diamonds and Obsession.
This is so fun! Yes do the makeup and fashion too! Early on I loved Loves Baby Soft and Jean Nate. Loved Fire and Ice a lot and le jardins. Then Navy and Exclamation. Later on my faves were Vanilla Fields, Aspen and Incognito. And always Vanilla Lace!!! Thanks for the memories! 💕
These memory lane videos are great! My 90's perfumes that stick out the most for me are hypnotic poison, Estee lauder fresh linen lancome tresor and lagerfeld sun moon stars! Also would wear straight up sandalwood oil. I remember also going for jlo glo by 99/2000. 😁
I think most of my faves were from the 80’s: Enjoli, Ysatis, Taboo and Chantilly Lace. Although when you mentioned Navy, the scent came right to my nose! That was definitely a fave in the 90’s. Thanks for sharing Melanie😊

This whole video is giving me sooo much nostalia. Some of these I remembered and some I had totally forgotten about like Sun Moon and Stars. But I knew them ALL, and had many of them. What a great video. And there is nothing like a smell to take you back to a time.

Yes, Malibu Musk! Ha ha ha! This scent memory goes hand in hand with prank calling boys and sleepovers, sneaking out through basement windows to go toilet paper friends' houses, and the smell of White Rain hairspray and the super frosty pink Wet & Wild lip gloss I wore when I would douse myself in Malibu Musk.
Vanilla Lace, and Strawberries and Champagne were the best 90s scents from Victoria Secret
Strawberries and champagne was a fave of mine too. As well as the Vanilla Lace!
I bought exclamation in 89 or 90 and it was such a powerhouse of a fragrance. That edt lasts longer than many edp’s now days. I found a pristine bottle from 89 and I’m in love once again.
Ahhh loving all these blast from the past. I’m googling while watching to kickstart my memory, lol.

Hi Melanie - A couple of years ago, I bought some of my old favorites from that time frame (Navy, Liz Claiborne, Vanilla Fields included). I enjoy being able to smell them every so often for nostalgic reasons. I don't wear them, but have kept them for memory sake. There is something comforting about being able to "relive" that time period through scent. I really enjoyed this video, thanks!

I used most of those same fragrances lol. I had the yellow triangle instead of the blue & it was funny that you mentioned getting loves baby soft in your stocking my sister & I did too lol
My favorite from the Body shop was White Musk
I know I had Loves Baby Soft, also Loves Rain scent and Loves Fresh Lemon. Then the next thing I remember is the musk oils, they were big, Coty Wild Musk and Skin musk by parfums de coeur, but I think it was Bonnie Bell then...or you could spray Jovan Musk...I never heard of the Malibu musk... probably a blessing. Maybe Ambush was in there too...when did Lauren come out? To have that square burgundy bottle with the hold cap was a real mark of status in my crowd!!
I can't believe you mentioned Garden Botanica. I haven't thought about that in 20 years. I wore Clinique Happy in the 90s and it turns my stomach now. Smells so sour on me now. This was a great video. Thanks

I LOVED Garden Botanica! I was so sad when they closed. I loved the sugar plum line (I think that's what it was called).
I graduated in '03 but I definitely loved Tommy Girl back in high school and also loved some of the limited ones, I am remembering a beautiful pink bottle version. Used to feel so fancy buying something at Macy's. I also loved those Victoria's Secret Pink body mists that you could get at Bath and Body Works in a rectangular shape. Also loved me some Love Spell and Warm Vanilla Sugar.
I had 2 go to perfumes Clinique Happy and Estée Lauder Pleasures. They jived with my body chemistry so well 20 yrs ago I would get compliments just about everyday.
I used so many of the ones you mentioned. Colors de Bettenon and Clinique Sunflowers were my jam!
Dolce & Gabbana Red Cap and Christian Dior Hypnotic Poison were my favorites in the ‘90s, though there were more. I also have always enjoyed vanilla fragrances. Great memory lane video.
I lived in Poland in the 90‘s and Exclamation was my favorite perfume. I remember saving my money to be able to buy it and when I finally did it was pure happiness. Thanks for reminding me about it. I placed my order on overstock after watching your video. I can‘t believe it‘s only $ 14 !!!

Navy was my first fragrance purchase as a teen, but I can't believe no one has mentioned New West! That was my absolute favorite. The Strivectin Glow Toner oddly smells just like it, but I haven't found a good fragrance dupe for it.
I loved Estee Lauder Beautiful, Dior Poison, Chanel Crystale and Calvin Klien Escape. Best perfumes ever! Still love them today! I remember a lot of the ones you mentioned too. 😁 💜
Some of my go-to's as a teen in the 90's (I think I'm only 1 year younger than you) were Clinique Happy, Tommy Girl, Nautica for women, my mom had given me Ja'dore for Christmas and I loved it, Exclamation was my first bottle of perfume, Cool Water . Sun, Moon & Stars was one of my favorites for the bottle, too. Also I lived for body sprays from Bath N body Works...Cucumber Melon in particular.
So many of my elementary teachers wore Liz Claiborne. Such a great scent memory!
Fun video, I wore a lot of the same. Also, Mackie by Bob Mackie, The Body Shop’s Vanilla scent oil was my jam.
I loved the Tommy cologne. Was super into the manly scents. I would love to see you visit 90s fashion! It was super cool to wear oversized men's polos (Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger) in my high school with our manly scents.
Navy was one of my jams! I thought I was hot stuff wearing that! Love’s baby soft was one of my firsts, started wearing when I was 7. I was obsessed with all things beauty! Most of what I wore, I can’t wear now. They don’t mix with my chemistry!
Started wearing Loves at 10. My grandma bought it for me. I loved it then but doesn't mix well on me now.
Omg. Fragrance from the 90s!!!! I graduated high school in 1991. Sun Moon and Stars was amazing!!!!!Electric Youth, Loves Baby Soft, Exclamation were constant repurchases for me. Liz Claiborne in the yellow was a fave!!!
In high school I used to wear the Liz Claiborne (yellow bottle). I loved the stuff, but every time I put it on, my dad would say that it “smells like Raid”. A few weeks ago (before shelter in place) I found a bottle of it weirdly at TJ Maxx. I sprayed it on my arm and immediately thought “damn, this DOES smell like Raid”! My memory of it was so much better than the reality! As you mentioned, sometimes our body chemistry changes and some scents just don’t work anymore... Or dad was just right all along! I’m thinking the different colors were parfum, eau de toilette, etc. I also wore Obsession, some Nina Ricci scent, Paris, VS raspberry lotion, and B&BW Juniper Breeze. I loved a few years ago when Juniper Breeze was brought back. That smelled exactly as I remembered it smelling. Love that scent!
OMG... you are taking me back. Liz Claiborne was one of my go to fragrances. I also loved YSL's Paris, Givenchy's Ysatis, Givenchy Amarige, and Dior's Poison, (all varieties) Benneton's Colors, and of course CK's Eternity. I also definitely wore more than my fair share of BBW's Sun Ripened Raspberry. I am just now realizing that I spent all my money from my high school job on exactly 2 things, 1 a car, and 2 fragrance. LOL! ~Elayne

70s / 80s girl here. Charlie, loves baby soft,Babe, Chantilly. From Avon, Sweet Honesty, Musk. My beloved hubby bought me Navy for Christmas. I still have the bottle. Now i still wear loves baby soft, Elizabeth Taylor White Diamond. I have a bottle of Charlie but it is not the same has in the 70s. I wear more body sprays now. But i do have a list that i like to try. Thanks for bringing back memories.
Plumeria was so great as was the original vanilla which they bring back at Christmas time. I started wearing Happy when it first came out and am still wearing it. I think that fragrance has been the one I have stayed with the longest.
I remember saving up for Safari by Ralph Lauren the summer before I went to college - 1993. I didn’t particularly love the scent but I looooved the packaging and the whole African Safari/Out of Africa ad campaign that went with it. This was also during the J Peterman era, when I would go to the store and read every word in their catalog.
Ohhh store catalogs! I miss those so much! I remember looking through my mom's JC Penny catalog for HOURS lol!
Oh man, the memories. Another one that I remember vividly as it was my mom's "fancy" perfume is Vanderbilt. It was quite an "old" smelling perfume but I can still picture my mom dressed up and spraying it on.
Ah yes! Vanderbilt! The fanciest of the fancy lady scents for sure! Along with White Diamonds!
I will be 42 in July and I graduated in 96 so I have soooo many 90s memories! My top fragrances are: Christian Dior Tendre Poison, Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers and Red Door, Calvin Klein CK one, Mary Kay Journey, Bath and Body works Halo....I miss that one a lot!!! They have heavenly but discontinued Halo!!! 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️😩 When I was in middle school I wore Exclamation, Loves baby soft and Debbie Gibson Electric Youth!!! 😍😍 (Misty)

I was in my 30s in the 90s. I wore Dune by Christian Dior exclusively. I took a break from it after many years and when I got a bottle again either it had changed or my chemistry had changed and it didn't smell like I remembered.

Hi Melanie, I still wear Skin Musk oil & Plumeria spray! This video was so much fun. Please think about an eye shadow/make up & fashion but understand if you skip it. Mr. Kong is such a cutie pie!
Wow what a memory flash back! My favorites were #1 exclamation, I would drown myself in that stuff! #2 vanilla fields, I've always loved vanilla everything! #3 Malibu Musk, I would use can after can of that stuff! ❤

The best memories!
For the early 90’s I loved going to the body shop and custom making my perfume. It usually was a vanilla and strawberry scent. Also, I think it was Gap who had a fresh cut grass scent, that I loved. For the late 90’s I liked two men’s colognes that I got from a friend in Europe- JOOP! (by Joop!) and Pi (by Givenchy). I also had a small tester of Coco that my aunt gave me...I loved it but it doesn’t smell the same on me now.

Fire and Ice is totally still made lol. I just purchased it off Amazon a few months ago! I did a video where I repurchased some of my faves and shared my thoughts. Still love them all lol!

favorite 90s perfume is probably issey miyake l'eau d'issey. The 90s made the BEST perfumes honestly. Ralph by Ralph Lauren came out a tad later but that encapsulates the smellof hs for me
Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issay was my signature scent around the turn of the millennium. Loved that one so much!
During the 90's I found Dolce and Gabbana (the one with the red cap) to this day I keep a bottle for nostalgic purposes. Clinique Happy, Charlie Girl, CK One were also in my rotation. I love, love, love fragrance.....Happy Tuesday XOXO

The red triangle Liz Claiborne was my first fancy lady perfume. My first paycheck from my first job I bought that, some Keds, and some Guess jeans. I miss the 90s. I wore almost all of these at one time or another, except the VS they all gave me a headache.
Oh Keds.... the joy of the 90's. I had so many white Keds. I loved Jordash jeans lol!
I had the knock off cKone in middle school, but high school was all about the Bath and Body Works sprays! Juniper Breeze, Cucumber Melon, Plumeria, etc. I also loved Gap Blue, but the men's cologne. I also loved Blue Jeans and Red Jeans by Versace (?) and Clinique aromatics elixir, but never owned them. I'm 36 and still in search of my signature scent. Kate Walsh's Boyfriend is what I've had for a while, but Hermes eau des Merveilles is so lovely too.
Loved the Laura Ashley fragrance no 1.
I loved Curve
My 90s faves were Safari by Ralph Lauren, Eternity and Escape by Calvin (women's), Caylix (sp) by Prescriptives, Jessica McClintock, Curve by Liz Claiborne, Happy by Clinique. These are most of what I had that were faves. Fun!
I love Calyx. I found a Prescriptives Calyx in the flea market and was going to buy it and someone bought it out from under me. I was so sad.
Gap Grass, Abercrombie & Fitch, CK1, Estée Lauder Pleasures and bath and body works Honeysuckle, plus the original nut butter body butter from The Body Shop.
Exclamation, Sun Moon Stars, Escape... my first ever perfume I was Charlie ❤️. I think they still make all of these.

I graduated in 1993 and so many memories of Liz Claiborne, Navy, Exclamation. I think all the Liz Claiborne bottles were the same- I had a silver bottle and don’t remember it being any different. Also loved Heavenly and Angel from Victoria’s Secret. My friend had Poison and Paris- loved those too.
Oh yes Angel from Vickies! I LOVED that one in the very late 90's and early 2000's.
Escape was a fave for me in the 90’s by Calvin Klein.
I grad in '98!! Exclamation, Wind Song, some of those tin sprays that were like Malibu you mentioned, Curve, Liz C Sport (went thru several small ones), VS Secret Crush (which I recently bought 2 more of from Amazon and still love it) Avon Sunrise (went thru 2 or 3), Cool Water Woman (went thru a few, I thought of purchasing now).

Went through many bottles of Sunflowers. That would have been my signature. BBW was new on the scene and my first set from them was plumeria. I wanted electric youth but never did buy it. By the end of the decade I was wearing clinique happy.

I’m an 80’s girl. Most perfumes gave me a excruciating headaches. The only perfume I could wear was YSL’s Opium, which was a splurge.
I loved, Loved, LOVED Victoria's Secret English Harvest Peach Hyacinth and Grass by the Gap.
I used to wear Liz Claiborne, Chloe, and Obsession. For the guys I used to love Drakar and Cool Water. lol
This is such a guilty pleasure but I adored the fragrances Curious by Britney Spears and the one by Paris Hilton. Siren? I probably smelled like a stripper but honestly I adored it. I also loved the body spray by Calgon Hawaiian Ginger!

Maybe Clinique happy didn’t work well because tester bottles are often rancid from sitting out in the harsh light of retail stores and not being stored properly lol. Happy is still a beautiful bright fragrance!
I don't know if you guys have Yves Rocher in US, but they used to have the beeeest vanilla scent I have ever used. I don't know why they discontinued it! :( Las year I bought Obsession, by CK, as I remember loving it back then, but I don't love it some much anymore.... Great series, Melanie!!! ❤
Oh yes! I remember Yves Rocher. They had a scent called C'est La Vie and Ispahan that I remember loving! I wish I could find them again. Especially Ispahan! it was so lovely!
I still wear Liz claibourne, diamonds and sapphires and if they still sold it I'd bathe in Sun moon and stars! Bring it back! And there was a bbw hazelnut body spray that I would get so many compliments on!
My favorite 90s scent is new west for woman.

Giorgio until I found Red by Giorgio. Red by Giorgio to me was my husband and me. He would just grab me and smell me. He also loved Estee Lauder's Beautiful on me. YSL's Opium, I still wear. Strong, but it gets even better throughout the day. I still love Love's Baby Soft and used to spray on my daughter's bedding and curtains. That smell brings you back. I used Avon perfumes a lot, Sweet Honestly, Odyssey, Imari, Soft Musk and I loved their Comfort Scent Stonewashed Blue for summer, a really clean scent. VS still has Vanilla Lace...I have the spray and the body cream. Summer hanging out I will spray Vanilla Lace with their Coconut Passion.
My #1 fragrance was Colors and I also wore Jovan. Most of my friends were into wearing men's cologne (I don't remember which ones). My mother in law was crazy over Vanilla Fields and Sun Moon and Stars. Oh and remember spraying your letters with perfume when you wrote your friends? 😆
I remember spraying letter to boys with my perfume lol! Not sure it was ever really appreciated by the boys tho lol!

I was waiting for you to say Exclamation! How about Liz Claiborne Realities? I loved both of those. I still like Happy, but you could have gotten a bad tester. I liberally applied a roller ball of a fragrance I know I love at Ulta one day and almost gagged! It had gone rancid & required a prompt trip to the makeover tables in the prestige section to use makeup wipes and alcohol on a tissue to get it off. Ugh!
Class of '91 here... ;) My daily h.s. perfume of choice was Sand and Sable. My date perfume was Red Door and Lauren. Do they even still make these??? lol
Oh yes... and Georgio and Chloe were date fragrances in the fall and winter for me

Tommy girl...beautiful scent. Couldn't wear it while hyped. Because a lady bathed herself in it at work. I bought a bottle like a year ago after smelling it on a girl at the mall....finally I can wear it. It lasts forever.
