Retrospection:
4:10 The MTU blueprint that we skipped is worth a lot.
13:09 It's likely they just cloaked up for a few hours and didn't log out.
53:52 This is not a wandering wormhole, it's the exit of a static.
1:02:12 This technique works better in a Prospect with an MWD.
1:11:20 The objects in question are just another layer of defense for capital ratting. - Hry
Thank you for watching.
25:22 ... I've been hearing that SP Farms are in the red ... they are not managing to break-even ...
@@theethicsofliberty4642 Yeah, you're never going to PLEX an alt with an SP farm alone in 2022. That's why I focus so heavily on the idea of combining it with PI and active methods in the discussion. An SP farm should only be in the red if that's the only thing you're doing with the account, which is pretty fair in my eyes.
41:20 ... By the looks of it ... now there is an option to disable the disconnect-warp-to-safety ... Settings >> General Settings >> Inflight >> Disable Emergency Warp ... I haven't tested it yet ...
I think the cloak would still deactivate, which means I can still get scanned down. I'll test that a bit later. I actually used that 'disable emergency warp' for the Orca before I remembered that in a POS you don't e-warp!
Thanks for the tips. Look forward to your advice on the next one.
@@theethicsofliberty4642 I travel in Thera a lot. It is huge, routinely uses up my cap to make a jump. Sometimes I get neuted out by wormhole rats. Warping partway under low power has saved me a lot. Be careful changing this one.
I absolutely love this series. Thank you for sharing your adventures in wormholes. There’s so much to learn here.
Hi. I’m the owner of that pos you saw at 10:43. A friend of mine showed me this video and asked if that was my pos. Indeed it is lol. Glad it makes you feel better about your own pos being messy. Seems like you get up to some good stuff, I hope youre having fun with it all. Nice video man
Hi! Thanks for dropping me a line. I love hearing the 'real' story behind the stuff I find... I hope you have a great week
it was my theory that you didnt have the cpu for a SMA or something
In episode 2, I commented that I was going to hold off watching episode 3 as you’d given us fair warning that it might be a while before new episodes are dropped…but when I saw episode 4 had landed I was all over this like white on rice.
Another fascinating chapter in your adventure, I was glued to all of it.
I love your laconic and insightful narration and the occasional text pop-ups serve to keep the whole thing really smooth as they either further inform us as to what you’re talking about or give us a heads up to get ready for something, which is a really cool way of keeping your audience engaged.
Can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying this series. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us as I’ve no doubt that the editing process is quite time consuming never mind actual gameplay and RL also taking up your time.
You’ve an appreciative audience and we want to see more, so as best you can, please keep it coming. 07
If I said I felt flattered by your comment, it'd be a major understatement. It's extra cool when people comment on the video editing side of things. It serves as a bit of encouragement as I slowly improve at that aspect of it, on top of all the EVE stuff. I'll just say that I'm thrilled you're enjoying the ride and hope to provide many more hours of content in the future. o7
This is just about the perfect amount of Eve I need in my life
Now there's a sobering thought. Thanks for watching, friend!
Amazing timing. Posted to a cross country boring ass highway and now i have entertainment 👍
Keep this series up, eve needs content like this
About halfway through the video but wanted to say I absolutely love how the game looks, its one of the reasons I keep coming back. My pc background is always a screenshot of eve even when i go months or years without playing. So damn beautiful!
I've watched all three of your Nomad series several times,. It's so inspirational Im working toward my own Nomad setup. I'm looking forward to episode four.
This is v high quality content
I waited too long for part 3. I can’t get enough of this. Keep it up.
I love this series so much, please keep uploading!
dude, you are making me want to do this. it looks like loads of fun!
Loving this series so far, thank you for the content!
You're very welcome!
1:14:00 nice get away. great story too
I smashed the notification so hard my monitor needs an ambulance
I started this playstyle two days ago after watching your first two vids. I like it. Thanks for the vids.
Good luck and have fun! I hope to hear of your adventure.
This must be the best content for EvE I've seen. This is exactly what I want to do!
im gonna be watching this series for weeks man. thank you so much for this!
There's sooo much of it, glad it keeps you entertained. You're super welcome and eventually there will be more.
Loving this series. Awesome stuff, keep it up!
Working my way through your series....by far the best I've seen in the Eve genre.
Wow, thank you. That's incredibly flattering. I haven't consumed much other EVE content myself so I won't agree or disagree, but I appreciate it nonetheless!
Really enjoying the series; very excited for the next episode!
Thank you. I'm excited to continue sharing my journey. :)
Seriously, super cool video. Motivation to push harder.
Keep it up man really love these videos!!
Been waiting for this
I love these videos. Keep em coming
I'm really enjoying the content, great job buddy keep it up!
Another great entry! Keep up the great work.
👍
Just found it like today but so so enjoying the series so far.
Glad ya liked it. :D
absolutely brilliant series ,love your content so well presented keep up the excellent work
Thank you for this.
everyone of these episodes would make a great script for SF series, HBO, talk to CCP. Im playing Eve for a year and a haf unfortunately i am more of a casual player than Id like to admit, so im really enjoying these
Hahah I don't know about all that, but very flattering. I'm just happy to be a part of the storytelling goodness.

your series is so entertaining
Thank you :DD
Enjoying the series a lot. Haven’t played in 6 years and a couple of questions if you would be so kind,,,
-what’s the interface you are using to manage/switch your accounts?
-how do you keep the screeen layout consistent across the accounts?
Thanks again for rhe series. Watching it on the couch while recovering from surgery and on meds and it is making me want to go play again.

@@chloroken Thanks heaps! Haven't got to episode 11 yet but that was super helpful!
@@pb3662 Happy to help. That section of ep 11 basically shows you how you can copy+paste files in your eve directory to copy settings. It's not so bad. :)
@@chloroken Thanks muchly. Still waiting for Support to get back to me regarding my previous account. If I need to setup from scratch I will be using your referral.
Was inspired to follow the fun, and change some things in my gameplay. Cheers from a fellow content creator. These inspired me to take more chances
I'm thrilled that you're inspired to go out there and get 'er done. I think my videos, if nothing else, prove that you can have a great time even when you screw up, with the right attitude.
I like your channel. I subscribed, and I'll be looking through your videos for stuff that interests me. Thanks for reaching out!
Great series.
Thanks, Donovan. Glad you're enjoying it.
11:45 what a clutch find. Need to drag and drop everything more just to try from now on.
Fleet management really does suck for multiboxers. But I suppose you get numb to it. :P
This is the third youtube channel I am watching this series on😅
Keep going for like 8-10 episodes, then falling out of love with eve for extended periods of time and then losing my progress on this series, because of my accounts getting terminated (long story), but somehow youtube always brings me back to this series without even searching for it and I have nothing to complain about. It has always managed to ignite my passion for eve and look forward to getting back online, once my mouse has been replaced as it is having issues.
Seeing that it is now 8 months ago the last ep. was posted all I can come to think is:
🎼Baby come back🎼
These are awesome videos
Appreciate ya.
this is so sick, i have learned so much about wh
Love the svipul
I'm in null right now with the Svipul, shooting MTUs to try to hide the Loki kill from my corp's zkillboard. I am still ashamed. Svipul is so sick though, even still.
@@chloroken kill board green 😂. Kill some bubbles also.
Yes!, you are back ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
If scaned all sigs you can just ignore them so you can see wich one is new one without adding it to PF
Great Videos, sometimes I feel like I should do this - take a break from Nullsec Life, kind of like a holiday inside the game to experience new things. on a side note ill buy all the (Advanced Protective Technology) loot you get lol!!!!!!
Thank you for the kind words.
As for the idea of a vacation...why not? You don't even need to go all-in! Just grab a few alts, a small stick, and set up a little fun base to goof around in. No Orca required, and you still get to experience a lot of what I'm doing now. Of course, if you fall in love with it, maybe one day you'll do a bit of nomading of your own?
Either way - you're welcome to hang out with me as I continue to mess around out there. And if you go out on your own, make sure to share some stories with me. :)
The Magpie Mtu is worth a fair bit. Not sure what it comes to minus build cost though off the top of my head. Great content you’re creating 👍
Your comment has inspired me to serialize the ghost site rewards in a spreadsheet to optimize our odds of coming out with the most ISK. Thanks!
Wow I was ratting in an Ishtar back in 2007 in Branch, very effective ship. I have no idea what some of the ships you use are, I think T3 frigs were about to be released when I stopped playing. About 2014/15. I loved my Viator and Ran countless gate camp, I never really liked my Occator.
Great series btw.
Great series. Hobo WH life as it really is.
@chloroken What's the music you had in the background during the alt discussion portion? It's really chill and I wanna add it to my relaxing playlist

Odd question , I am having a bit of difficulty finding out the answer online, these "small stick" POS, where can those be set up....is there a video you've made about that, are there Security limitations, etc. ?
Hi Donovan! So, in the series I do make a lot assumptions about prior knowledge. Sorry about that.
The short answer is that it's wayy too in-depth to explain in a youtube comment. For you, here's what you need to know: wiki.eveuniversity.org/Player-owned_starbases and wiki.eveuniversity.org/POS_Setup
After you've read those, I would poke around youtube for videos about POSes and see if anything tickles your fancy.
But, if all that is too much, a 'stick' or a 'POS' is basically a structure that you can anchor at moons. One per moon. They require fuel and can be equipped with modules. If attacked, they 'reinforce' for a day or more which buys you time to evacuate.
I hope this helps. Thank you for checking out the series!
at time 1:12:43, the name you gave to the venture "hola :v" is widely used in the Spanish-speaking community. My native language is Spanish and if I saw you on the dscan, I would think that you are a player from the Hispanic community XD.
"A nomad tale" is amazing, I'm enjoying it a lot being a wormhole player o7
Si! I learned of this face from Peruvians and I have liked it since. :V Thank you for your kind words and I'm thrilled you enjoy it. 💚
What's the little window preview thing you've got going on at the top of the screen? That looks handy.

loving the series
pls tell me more about that prog of yours :D
share the git repo?
Hey, we will work some more on it and eventually open source it!
if you wanna be catching rolling hics you cant be cloacked (locking delay its just too much) and you need to bee siting 0 on bookmark (so inside wh not 0 on wh cuz that doesnt puts you indise and in midle) and then you need to bumb his aswell
Hi Pavol, I'm going to try to get better at this. Thank you for the tips!
Hey 😊 really dont understand the game but i go for episode 4 😂 entertained
Haha that's so cute! I can't believe you're watching it if you don't understand. Maybe its just the cool sounds and the lost lad rambling. :)
@@chloroken relaxing voice and intresting story telling 😁
Im hyped for the svipul as I was always thinking why i never see anymore with the ship. What are the reasons to fly it and how u use it! Love it
Already have a bit of footage showing off the capabilities of the Svipul for the next episode! See you then. ;)
Personally, I think the Tech 3 destroyers range of ships were designed with gate camping in mind.
They are effective in numbers (i.e. several) and their ability to morph on the battlefield to 3 different states of being gives them unrivalled versatility and flexibility.
@@thedudeabides3138 Do you remember when Svipuls had a massive bonus to Scan Resolution and could insta-target frigates with no remote SeBos? Those were... fun times... I'm sure if you looked at my killboard you DEFINITELY wouldn't see me sitting at Tama gate fragging frigates with one... never would I! (Thanks for watching, Steve)
very enjoyable series, thanks man!
But, but, but you showed this little program for tracking and no link for it! i wanna use dat!
Hi Identity! So, admittedly, I haven't worked on the mapper since its inception. However, I absolutely have intentions of finishing and releasing it one day! Thank you for the support, means the world to me.
@@chloroken nonono my dude you can't just put it out like that and then not give option to use it :( alright let me be your early alpha tester
Hey @chloroken you still have that little program for mapping wspace? I would like to try it for my day trips.
It's on Github, go nuts! github.com/chloroken/daytripper But it's very, very rough, I haven't touched it since really. I would like to finish it one day but.. liking and doing are different. :D
Hey man I'm personally a solo player in most games, have came to fall in love with eve but lost interest because of having to commit much time in game to corp and didn't find I was helping myself out, do you have any videos that show the minimum amount of account and approx min sp on each to do something equivalent? Just intent on running away because only have 1 toon in a t3
Hmm, you may try episode 10 at the start - there is an EVE mon spread there with my characters.
Do you have a link to the wh tool thing you made?
I don't think I have a link to that version, but I do have an updated version you can check out or download here:
github.com/chloroken/daytripper
It's not particularly usable right now, but there it is! :P
@@chloroken Many thanks!
CCP already said that developers of mapping programs are not allowed to use intel from it nor are they allowed to access it. Doing so is a permeant ban able offense.
Right, I was indeed aware of that. Personally, I'm using a 'public' web-based version of Pathfinder right now. If that person wanted to, they COULD secretly scrape the data and CCP would be none the wiser. Of course, I don't mind too much because I'm a small fish, but I can totally understand why large corporations/alliances might be paranoid. Either way, not a huge concern to us, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
why can't you kill him with your proteus if it's a c13?
C13s are limited to small-sized ships. :)
@@chloroken Thank you

@@chloroken arent they like awfully expensive tho?
@@coneime Absolutely. I recommend not using them. There are a few moderately-priced hacking implants that are worth it, though. And a tech 2 Data/Relic analyzer is perfectly sufficient. :) Zeugma is really more of a luxury thing, but it makes hacking frantic.
@@chloroken ok thanks :)
Interesting watch! The Magpie MTU blueprint you found at czcams.com/video/1DEySOizJ9I/video.html is worth more than 300 million if you build it and sell it! Looking forward to seeing you kill some marauders with your Pilgrim! Getting tempted to go into this lifestyle myself, do you think a thanatos would work in the place of an orca?
Hey, so carriers definitely work in c5/c6 for nomading. The main issue is that they're just slightly worse at the role than Orcas in general, in my opinion, due to less desirable storage options and the inability to compress gas. Considering you won't use the carrier as both a suitcase and a ratting/rolling machine, I personally think the Orca is better in most ways.
However, the carrier does have benefits. It's harder to kill if it gets caught. It can jump to wormholes in kspace to gain entry. It can roll XL holes in a pinch.
Ultimately, you can do this with a t1 hauler if you put your mind to it. It's all about 'making it work'. Best of luck to you!
I am curious why you dont click off your gas miners before yu warp so yu dont waste the ore ?
Iol i mean gas
I do. You may have just noticed a rare case where I was distracted or something. :P
