Awesome job on the build. I’ve got a sn95 Mustang with a LS swapped and twin 62/62 vs racing ball bearing turbos. What did you end up using on the power steering? The stock rac and pinion lines don’t connect to the ls power steering pump. I’m trying to install an6 ptfe lines but finding it difficult to locate a reasonably priced a fittings for the rack and pinion. I see maximum motorsports offers the correct fittings but the price crazy!
Is it possible to throw a 5.3 in and keep my stock trans? I have a 5 speed gt with 4.10 gear, so I'd hate to have to swap to a 4l60 or 80 and have to have a custom driveshaft made.
Good question not sure if there is a adapter plate kit available or not.. usually to have a manual behind a LS it's t56 or AR5 trans out of a colorado or canyon.. but either way it will require driveshaft to be resized.. here in Colorado there's a place in Denver that will do driveshaft for a great price so you may want to hunt around your area.
Thanks for the comment.. I bought some universal ones from amazon.. but the polyurethane end was short so I put a spacer in it to make up the difference. And on one side I had to cut thr mount to shorten it because it wouldn't line up with the frame side. You would think QA1 would sell a mount to make it easy but I didn't find one either.
We made it but I did see them for sale on ebay.. its just a 3in vband on the mani side and t4 flange on the turbo side with a wastegate flange in the middle of the pipe. Making it let us position the turbo were we wanted it.
Thanks for the comment bretthaworth3651! We pretty much pieced it together the exhaust is a hooker single turbo hot side. Intercooler is universal one from eBay I believe. And turbo and wastegates came from summit.
The motor is very practical for daily driving and you can have ac in it... a turbo ls.. has a lot of extra heat and sometimes ac is not a option due to space. Just make sure you spend good money on the cooling system they tend to run hot as is.
It was kinda pricy we don't do budget builds here.. everything was pretty much replaced and completely resealed and trans rebuilt.. cost wise was about 14k.. but that's all in with labor.
@@advancedstreettechnology2081 yeah I wanted to make a live video of it…but said I needed 50 subs lol , I gathered all the parts needed to do the swap and threw it in there

Did you use a 302-1 oil pan?
Can an LS3/2 fit ? I would be interested…
There pretty much same block so yes no problem.
what motor mount set up are you using im using the QA1 motor mounts but cant find a kit for the motor mount that is on the actual motor

What did you use to connect the turbo from the hooker turbo manifold kit???
?? Is it a bought piece or did u make it?

I have that exact same setup but I can’t find a turbo kit anywhere I want to go twin 62mm but no one sells that kit do you have any recommendations

I just bought a new edge and want to LS Swap it, how much time does it take and is it practical with one vehicle

What oil pump did you go with
How much did it cost for the set up? I have a 2V blown head gasket I would like to LS swap🔥🔥👍
It’s easy asf , I did mines in one day

@@str8capin854 I want to see your 1 day ls swap build do you have pics of how it looks? Did you fire it up in 1day or completely done?

Can a 5.3 engine fit in a new edge ? Because I’m thinking about swapping mines
Ohh yeah no problem.. there are alot of aftermarket parts like mounts and exhaust manifolds to help it fit.
I’m trying to put a 5.3 in my new edge would you mind helping me on telling me what would I need to do to swap it do you have any social media?
If you look at my videos I have a parts list video and several videos of the process.. any specific question you have?
