#SolidGel #GelPolish - Jak na to + styl
I know this is an older video, but for people curious about pudding gel and just running across this, I will add my favorite things about this stuff (meaning all pudding gels, not just Vettsy):
1) I love them because they don’t flood cuticles or tend to get bulky around the free edge like regular polish.
2) They are really easy to ombré. I find it very difficult to ombré with regular gel polish, and the only ways I can ombré regular gel are super messy. I find it very easy to neatly feather pudding gels into a nice blended ombré.
They do self level. It might take a little longer to level than regular gel polish, but they will if you give it a second. They do sometimes look streaky until you top coat, but the top coat usually takes care of it.
Also, Vettsy sells them for $9.99 each, but you can get a bundle of 10 for $40, so if you’re going to order, it’s very worth it to buy the bundle. If you buy the bundle of 3, like she did for this video, you get the brushes, but you don’t get a big bundle discount like if you do the bundle of 10. But if you do the bundle of 10, I don’t believe you get brushes, so make sure to buy one.
And, don’t stir it! When she first dipped in to do that first swatch, she was kind of stirring a little like you would with a builder gel. You don’t want to do that. Just scoop on your brush and start painting. 😂
Lastly, thinner is better with them. Do multiple thin layers rather than 1 or 2 thick. Vettsy are pretty opaque, so you might get full coverage with 2, but I’ve tried other brands where I have needed 4 layers.
Thank you for all your info, very helpful. xoxo
@@GelsNGemsNails 😂 I clearly was bored this morning and had nothing better to do than write a novel about pudding gels. I didn’t even realize I wrote that much until you replied. 😂
How do you clean the brush?
@@monicalara6229 I just dis a video on some more vettsy gels and I show you in that video exactly how 😊 very good info you would like to check that video out. It's the latest one I put up. 😘
@@monicalara6229 I just dip it in a little cleanser that I made (1 part acetone to 2 parts isopropyl alcohol) then wipe it on a nail wipe.
I also just got and used this product. I used full cover and LOVED how easy and fast it worked getting nails on myself. No sliding around, air bubbles, no need to try to hold nail why quick setting base coat/hard gel. I like there were NO gaps and time to position nail perfectly. Can't comment on longevity yet, but very HAPPY with application!
I have a video coming up on it, I love it!
I really liked their solid pudding gel polish. Some were really creamy and others translucent but they were easy to work with. Great video x
The pink shimmer looked like lip gloss when it was in the pot! So pretty!! 💖
Pleas don’t stir the gel. i saw on their website that you definitely should not stir it
I was too curious not to but yeah, would not recommend doing it. I won't do it to any more
I'm in love with that rosey nude color! They're all lovely but the rose one is my favorite ❤
I love finding new channels and I am always open to all new things. I'm very grateful to be Blessed to find your channel and I THANK YOU 💯😇
Welcome! I am so glad you found me 😘
I struggle with the rubber base gel. I can use the builder gel and just file down and fill in. The rubber base doesn't seem to stick as well for me and it ends up coming off when I use by e-file. So not sure what I am doing wrong there. But since I am not really building nails I wish I could get it figured out. I am sure I will play with again at some point. BTW - I absolutely love watching removal of old polish and stuff. It is so relaxing to me. LOL.
I really liked the pink shimmer. I wonder how it would look over the black. Their prices actually seem pretty reasonable. Thanks.
Thank you so much. I'm going to try mine one of these days. What nail tool are you using? The ones I have are not helpful at all. Thanks again.
Love watching your videos and love this set and the colours tyfs 💖 🤍
Thank you 😊 💓
They look like good products, interesting to try but really much more expensive than I thought… .. The colors, for my taste are (except 1) all really very beautiful and I love when they are so pigmented and full with 1, even if you want 2, pass the color. Thanks for this video: I was looking for a review on Vettsy products and now I have an idea. Informative, innovative video (it's the first I find that talks about this brand and sincere.) Thanks again and congratulations for your sincere and direct opinion.👍😊💕💕💕
Wish you would have explained what leveling and shadowing means. Some of us are beginners and don’t know all of the jargon yet.
I will try to explain myself better, thank you for the feedback!
hey! do you think we can use this for stamping? love the video😍
No, i don't think so.
Have you tried the Canii solid gels? they look so fancy
I have not but would love too!
Love the video! Thanks for sharing! What is the brand of purple sanding bands you are using? Thanks!
Thanks. I get them from profiles backstage
I wondered that too! Nice sanding bands
I'm not licensed, and looks like they only sell to pros. I'm a proficient DIY! Let me know if you have other suggestions on other sites or Amazon
@@BeInspiredByPrettyThings it looks like apres nail just launched some really nice ones in neon colors. Could give them a try
Hi!! I'm starting to do my nails at home and I was wondering, do you need an UV lamp for solid gel polish? Or does it dry like an usual nail polish?
You need a UV or LED light babe! Anything with the word “gel” in the title generally needs to be cured with the light! Hope this helps!
Yes, you need a lamp as this is a gel, not a regular polish.
Hi, what nail drill do you use? Great video.
Thank you, I am currently using the MelodySusie Sparkle Plus
Hi, how do you clean the brush? Do you dip em in acetone?
No. You use a clear gel to clean it
Hello, to use this gels in a natural nail,
Do you use primer and base?
Yes you need a base, primer is up to you. I like to Young Nails Protein Bond if you need the extra help with keeping product on.
Can you use this gel poliah on any brand of naila or even on real nails? What about using the gel glue with any nail tip/full nail
yep
What grit are the sanding bands you're using may I ask?
Medium
Madam Glam has pudding gel now. I just ordered two. I trust them, this Vettsy brand just popped up over night. Speaking of Madam Glam, do you happen to know of a gem glue or a clear builder that is toxin free avaiable in the US. I don't know why they don't have clear.
I do not but a will put a suggestion in to Madam Glam and maybe we will see something like that in the future.
@@GelsNGemsNails hi I just purchased these new solid gels I was wondering if you knew the process of how to remove it from your nails? And how to clean the brush
How can I make the brush clean again after using 1 gel color and the same brush to the next one?
Wipe on a paper towel. If that doesn't get all the color out run your brush in some clear gel (base or top coat) and wipe again. Repeat till clean. 😉
I'm looking for a good black and a white art gel paint. Mostly for doing hand painting designs. Any top recommendations?
I love young nails paints and madam Glam is great as well!
@@GelsNGemsNails thx love!
What is the brand of the tool you are using to take off your polish?
The drill?
how long its last on the natural nails .
Did you try these with a non vettsy brand base and top coat?, if so, did they work ok? Thanks 😊
I have. I used madam glam and it worked great!
@@GelsNGemsNails Thank you
What brand is the electrical nail file? Seems to work great ! Beautiful nails!
Its the Sparkle Pro from MelodySusie
What’s the color on your left hand in the beginning of the vid ? 😍
It's a glitter. Here is the video showing how it's done
czcams.com/video/dtIVKNdOSvI/video.html
What speed do you have the file set at please
It is different for each bit. For the removal of the bulk I go on max speed, 35,000 rpms and for the sanding band is more around 8,000 rpms because I'm touching the natural nail to blend the product and make it flush.
Apparently you're not supposed to stir this product..it turns it to a liquid
yep... but i couldn't help myself. lol 🤣
@@GelsNGemsNails tell me about it😆😆😆The struggle was real when I learnt I couldn't stir.
Do we need to use a base coat
yes
Is it necessary to bake with a UV lamp?
Led is fine
@@GelsNGemsNails Thanks,,🥰
How do you clean the brushes? 🤦🏼♀️
You run them through clear gel (base coat or topcoat) until they come out clean.
👍
their website states not to stir them
What is the glitter on your left hand? Omg
It's a Magpie glitter. Here is a video where I put it on. czcams.com/video/dtIVKNdOSvI/video.html
@@GelsNGemsNails 💕💕💕💕
What does shadowing mean?
its when the gel leaves like a see-through spot because its not opaque enough
@@GelsNGemsNails ty!
Oops talking about Vettsy "solid nail glue" in below comments.
Grande
As much as I enjoyed the video, what I really want to know is…what kind of pupper do you have? 😆
a mini dachshund... well 2 now 😁
Looks like a tongue 👅 dripping out. 😅 love this video!
😂👅
Madam Glam has pudding gel
Para mi narga
Please use gloves or do not touch the gel with your hands - uncured gels are super allergenic. Please be careful and be a good role model for your viewers, a lot of kids are watching ;-)
Ok, thank you
