Some of the marine dialogue in infinite was great "Look, are you a bird or a dinosaur? MAKE UP YOUR MIND"

I believe its been stated that the campaign will never be getting co-op at this point. It kept getting pushed back and I think dropped.

Yeah this game was ass. No co-op at launch, took forever to get it. Multi-player was hit garbage as well. This series died a few ago. Until they decide to actually care about the story, and multi-player for the fans, it will continue to not be good sadly
Infinite is 10x better than 4 or 5
If Ray and Chibi ever play this Campaign's coop I pray for Ray. Once Chibi figures out the grapple hook barrel strat Caboose will find himself outclassed by a new teamkiller lol

The concept of chibi crushing on atrox being a high probability is during a coop campaign run is funny to me, Ray trying to shoot the elites and chibi going dog whistle feral over the weird alien guy

Villains will always have the hero dead-to-rights and do literally anything BUT kill them.
It's moreso about the message it leaves behind. It is very dumb believe me i know. But without the hero, in this case, without the master chief then who do we follow? He's the only established hero here, to leave him in a near dead state floating in space shows if he(Atriox) can do something like that to the very best we have to offer then what can he do to the other Spartans? How can we beat this beast that left our best to die? It leaves a sense of hopelessness in those few who remain and thus making them lose all hope and morale. Even after Atriox was dead there are still the spartan killers, and very little to give the marines hope other than their duty as soldiers. Master Chief returns against the odds and provides hope for humanity even in it's darkest hour. Even when he seemed to be lost and dead to rights, his luck pulls through.

I had a really bad night at work that just got infinitely worse when I got home, so this highlight coming up is a much needed mental break for me. Thank you Ray, and Tina for all of the hard work you guys do. I know it seems like you just make silly videos, but for a lot of us, these silly videos are what keeps us here. I really can't stress enough how much I love all of your content, and how watching you has gotten me to try out games that I never thought I would touch in a million years. Thank you and Tina for EVERYTHING.
EDIT: I can't forget the other people who help the experience of the Ray channel: Light, Glasses, Gael, all of the mods, and chat [even though they are stinky.]

I loved this playthrough. The grappling hook just looked so fun to use too. I actually bought the game on Steam because of you. I still need to play it though.
I can't believe that the plot for Infinite is basically just undoing Halo 5's garbage. That Halo 5 story is the reason why I bought a PS4 instead of an Xbox One (well, the tipping point anyway).
I love when the guy who found you floating in space, unconscious, AND continually brings this fact up, says "When have you ever failed, Chief?!"

@yellow242 Halo 5 at least has SOME connection to the Halo lore, if barely. Infinite doesn't even have that, and has a fraction of the multi-player options. Infinite is way worse than 5.

My favorite glitch when this launched was the one where if you were driving a chopper and boosted up a ramp or a slight incline you rocket off to the moon 😂
I remember Ray asking chibi for a co-op Halo playthru. Will that still happen eventually? I think it'd be hilarious. Especially with the whole mp crew.

If i'm not mistaken that was for cursed halo and he was having issues setting it up because of course he did, that's our streamer. So, right now it's a no go for halo co-op at the moment but anything could happen.

Would love to see a co-op run of Infinite, or just a return to the multiplayer. They just added a Halo 3 nostalgia playlist with remakes of old maps.

we were meant to get cursed halo with Chibi but he had problems setting it up and just ended up doing the second playthrough on his own. But who knows with this crew, they can do anything.
Never played a Halo game, was always more a Nintendo and Playstation guy. But watching this and Cursed Halo does have me wanting to try it out
If you do, I definitely suggest trying one of the titles Bungie was in charge of, not 343 (so Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, and Reach).

Did they add co-op yet?
Heard the multiplayer has been slowly, but steadily, improving. From what I can tell, the MTX stuff is still vomit inducing, but the game is much more balanced, new maps and stuff are added free of charge and Forge is finally available, which means actually fun maps to play around in and not just rely on 343 for them.
The campaign was solid from day 1 in my eyes. Loved it when it came out. Glad to see this highlight.

I just finished this game maybe 6 months ago and most of these cutscenes feel new to me. Either the game was that forgettable or co-op screwed something up and I just never saw them.
Dude, I felt more positive on the campaign than it seems most people did and a decent chunk of those cutscenes felt new to me lol

Yeah, the face close ups are unsettling in the game and I don't know why.
I honestly stopped listening to any of his monologues after about the 3rd one. Every time I heard him talk was just like, "Oh, here he goes again about how great Atriox and the Banished are. Blah blah."

16:18 The Jackals and the Grunts hate each other. To the point that the Jackals tried to genocide the Grunts inside High Charity (the Covenant's mobile capital city).
Not a giant fan of the new cortana design but the game looked fun. Here's hoping he does revisit it for a laso with some friends.
The original Cortana design in the game is the best it's ever been, The Weapon's design is a bit basic but they'll probably update it for the next one & planned to in the cancelled DLC
Halo infinite is underrated imo
It's garbage. It does all the bad things Halo 5 did, but doubles down on all of it. It's Halo in name only. All the lore was basically thrown in a pit and nuked.

Ya know looking back on it they shouldn’t have showed that Chief got fucked by Atriox. Just show that the Infinity gets fucked by the Banished and we follow the Pilots perspective and we’re left wondering where’s Chief at the beginning of the game. And form a connection with the pilot instead of him suddenly getting dropped on you at the start.
Only for us to get to the intro where we find him floating and wonder how the hell did Master freaking Chief get there and the game kicks off properly.
As much as I had some serious issues with Infinite, I honestly found it to be the most fun 343 Halo game so far. Most of the story choices I found to be fine. I found the narrative in 4&5 to be actual dog water, and that Infinite went a long way to correct that, even if I didn't agree with _everything_ they did. The gameplay was great, felt fun and responsive, and besides a few sections, I never felt like I was losing interest in the gunplay. That being said, the vehicles were practically useless on the ground and their destruction animation is a huge cock block
Watching this just reminds me of how terrible the story was. They did Cortana so dirty.

God the soft reboot bullshit they tried to do with Infinite was such a bad idea.
