Naturally when you choose to obey Allah, even if it’s hard, Allah will bless you and show you that indeed you’re doing the right thing judging on the effects that it has. For example after listening to music you will emotional for no reason, if you quit it for the sake of Allah you will see the good effects of that quitting it ie you are a more stable person and don’t get easily emotional.

I think I am very fortunate in this case, cause at the age of 16-17 i started lowering my gaze and now it has became a habit to lower my gaze, at first I didn't know about this lowering gaze and all I just all of a sudden while riding on my bike i thought neither I look towards a opposite gender nor there would be any intrusive/malicious thought comes in my mind to distract myself.
But from several months I think I am losing track 😭 maybe Allah S.W.T. is not happy with me maybe I am doing something sinful which is upsetting Allah S.W.T. that's why i am distracting now, I pray please help me discover the sin which I am doing and give me hidayat ya Allah S.W.T.
Nah man you're on the right track it's not God that's disappointed in you, it's actually just satan trying to re-establish long lost influence on ya stray strong though (your enemy waits in the shadows). Remember AllahSWT doesn't care about what's done if you repent and turn to him.

I am 24 yrs old and I have noticed that:
everything that we follow that we are ordered to do by the religion
DIRECTLY CONTRIBUTE TO A BETTER LIFE FOR YOU AND THE ONES AROUND YOU.
In my workplace there is a lot of people who are lazy and do not do much, just the minimum. but because we are ordered by allah to be good in the workplace, through our work ethic and manner we are able to get much further compared to others if we exercise this correctly.
I have firsthand seen the benefit of having good manners and speaking good and avoiding gossip etc etc.
Only now is science coming to understand the complex dynamical benefits of what we have already been doing for over 1.5 millenia. for example fasting.

After Ramadan I thought because I improved a lot it wouldn't hurt going back to little old habits such as this. But I've quickly found even these seemingly small glances have a big impact. For me it lead to letting other small habits slip, and an increasingly negative snowball effect. Caught myself and am trying again to lower my gaze as much as possible. Alhamdullilah May Allah Guide us all

Akhi I have been actively lowering my gaze for years and I don't see a lot of the expected benefits that you mentioned. Please try to give advice only based on quran and sunnah and the opinions of sahabah and scholars. Otherwise people who acquire these expectations are likely going to be demotivated after not seeing them and go back to sin. Jazak Allah khair.

You can do it with women and girls outside who are wearing inappropriate you don't need to do it with your mother or sister unless....you know though came to your mind then it's best to look away in the ground while walking or in stairs

A thing to note, 'beautiful' women will appear in front of you more frequently the more you lower your gaze(tried a lot and works fr, it's a challenge), it's even normal to be invited for haram in the next years of continuously lowering your gaze. Just don't forget what you've learned

Brother, can you provide evidence of the claim that testosterone increases upon aversion of gaze? I believe the claim is unsubstantiated.
Akhi it’s common sense. Higher testosterone leads to a higher sex drive if you lower your gaze and fight against it your increasing your testosterone level constantly
@@Adam-fy3kg From all the research I have seen on abstinence, which is different to aversion to gaze but on a more extreme level, there is no long term increase in testosterone. It is not wise to claim that it is "common sense", akhi. You must pursue knowledge, for knowledge is important as a believer.
@@Adam-fy3kg Also, akhi. I find your claim very misleading. Testosterone doesn't magically increase if you "fight against it". The link between sex drive and testosterone, despite statistical tests showing significance, is still correlational. We cannot rule out the effect of other extraneous variables. Until then, I apologise, but I will retain the view that averting gaze has no physiological benefit except a spiritual one relating to a believer's relationship with Allah.
