Old clothes made from hemp that turn to rags can be recycled to create paper. Newspapers were called “rags” because they were made from recycled hemp clothes.
Hemp is also a bio accumulator and can draw out heavy metals from polluted soils! So be careful about where you're getting your hemp wraps!
The craft yarn portion of the American Fiber Industry would get a big economic boost in the years ahead.

It's interesting there is this idea that hemp is scratchy and uncomfortable and yet we wear jeans... Next to my Levi's the hemp fabric I bought is no more uncomfortable but a lot stronger and cooler in the summer.
Are you listening Jamaica, It's finding the positives from that plant. Positives such as the production of textiles and paper. After the use of Hemp products has been around for centuris.
I think replanting all clear cut regions with hemp should be an obligation...this would also be useful for ply board that could be harvested yearly instead of every 50 years thwarting clear cutting whilest keeping the lumber industry flourishing...

I don't have anything against oil, but I have always sought out hemp clothing. I have a few jackets/coats made from hemp. Had to buy them from eastern Europe. 100% hemp. I don't think I'd want cotton. Else, one fiber will wash+wear away faster than the other.

The law for growing hemp need to be lifted... I was going to get into hemp farming but after learning that you need to get a license to license a license to license grow hemp... I gave up.

This was only 2 months ago posted but I went to hemp authority today and it was permanently closed with no note. The website just says thank you for your 10 years of business we closed. No opportunities for online sales.. any insight?

It would take full on acres for just one car but it has many other uses but I think big Industries would most likely invest in it for example Big tobacco invested in Juul and vape companies and oil companies have invested in plastic
@@dustintacohands1107 you can get 30 - 42 barrels of oil per acre of hemp Mate.
The world uses hundred of millions of barrels of oil worldwide so I don't think we can plant to replace that . That would be millions and millions of acre needed to be plant worldwide and would in my opinion be waste of land . However it still has over 25,000 uses to create value added products and clean products so its a good buisnees venture. And that 30-42 barrels of oil you would get per acre you could sell it or even use it to make numerous products. SO IT'S A WIN WIN MATE💯👍 HEMP FOR THE FUTURE 🌱

@@C...G... back in the early 90's i picked up a 100% hemp greatcoat from the army surplus,back then army surplus supplies were a dept of the military in my country,and it cost me less than a pack of cigarettes and it lasted over 10yrs unfortunately until hemp can stand toe to toe,so to speak,with china and india's cotton production the price's of hemp clothing will not go down
@@yodayoda4976 i heard about india and their use of "bt" cotton and how their farmers were being abused and exploited by government in order to grow the stuff, some of the farmers ended up committing suicide because of it.
