If you throw the leaves you picked up behind you and out of the floodwater or shoved them into the drain, you wouldn't have to keep picking up the same leaves.

One small drain for that size parking lot, I bet it's flooded after every rain. Thankfully he spent the time to clear the continues plugging. Good job!
The current will pull them back on the drain. Put them on the pavement/sidewalk. If they are left in the road, they will clog the drain again as soon as you get more rain. Good job though 👏

@@florese4804 The rake, to make moving leaves out of the way easier. The gloves, so any sharp particulates like glass/rocks/metal don't end up cutting his hand (that'd be *_one_* nasty infection, no doubt).
Granted it would have been, but at least this guy got off his behind and did something even if it wasn’t the most efficient or safe (for his protection).

You ruin the satisfaction of the video by not working smart like just moving the leaves off to the side and the come right back in. Just remove them and people would like the video more.

Never shove them down the drain. It only clogs up the sand trap, and makes it worse for city crew to clean out later when it is completely blocked.
