Please help me out I also have a 12 jetta se awe catback track ed. And usp catted downpipe but the flexelbow/flex section of the downpipe keeps getting roasted and cracking making me lose back pressure hp and gas milage.. how can I stop it from getting destroyed??

amazing. when i found out my mk6 was a torsion beam and not independent rear suspension i went down to a mk5 and was blown away as to how much.better it handled, of only i knew it wasnt that hard to swap it ojt

Sweet mods buddy! I'm about to order the Sagitar (They call Sagitar to the Jetta in Asia) R line front bumper, which is basically like the mk7.5 Golf R bumper, love it! I'll fit the facelift headlights (the ones with the LED DRLs) and retrofit Morimoto 2Stroke 2.0 led bulbs on both low and high beams, it's gonna look pretty aggressive and still OEM 👌. Hey where did you get the independent rear suspension? I've wanted to do the same. thanks! and I'll share my project as soon it's done.
Lewis Rockwell I bought it used from Autohaas in New Jersey.. was dirt cheap and then replaced a bunch of the parts with newer stuff. Mainly just needed the main components
Hey man, I have a 2011 Jetta 2.5L with the rear torsion beam and I've been scouring the web to find a set of coilovers that will work well without having to do an IRS swap. How difficult was the IRS swap? Please recommend coilovers for a torsion beam jetta on MK6 platform if you don't mind. I want about 2" drop to close up the gap on some 19" wheels that I'm running.

It was super straightforward! When I had rear torsion beam, I ran some JOM coil overs. Super cheap but they worked!

Hey man. Can i get a high flow cat downpipe with the awe track edition exhaust and stage 1 tune? thats all i have done to it. would i be able to run that and what do you need to install a aftermarket downpipe? do i need to buy like 02 sensors?
Stage 1 tune supposedly isnt for automatic I've contacted IE. They wont do it for me...the downpipe is super easy it's just a few bolts but the problem is getting under the car to do it..got a lift? Other than that you should be good to go.. also only the wagons can take the manifold because of the steering pump being in the way on sedans

MK is universally "mark", meaning a model or generation of that vehicle. SE is the model. For example: S, SE, SEL, GLI, GTI, etc

Samuel Chesloff as long as you have one other person, tools, and some knowledge of working on cars, it’s a breeze

Gdk just trim back some of the bumper support foam and it should install fine
9/10 times your fender will overlap your bumper. It does look wonky in lighter colored cars. I ditched the foam backing he was referring to. Most of it is loose fitment, just take your time & don't get it painted @ Maaco like I did. You'll need side skirts to compensate for how low the r bumper is ❤

@@caseygawriluk thats just for show, not actually street legal I assume. Cuz thats pretty cool
Marlon Abalos it’s exactly like the legit plates. Grab the image straight from the website where you create the custom plates, throw it into my software, and cut. Same exact font and layout as a plate you could buy. Cops/state troopers/border patrol all think its real🤷🏻♂️

Why do you run a catch can?
richard johnson I was having some issues with oil coming from valve cover as well as pcv diaphragm issues.. replaced the PCV membrane and no fix.. also future plans for a turbo
