    I did it exactly how you show it on the video and shit you can tell the difference on speed. I have to use different holes on the motor plate because using B and C it was too tight. But it runs good and you can notice the speed.

    Good Tips! I've never seen a 5mm shaft reducer before, interesting stuff!

      Phil working on a few options this week. Will PM you via FB when I have some results. I've order a couple of things from Amazon to try. Nice 100+ mph pass you did BTW! I've a new 962 body on order. Think the Ason Martin one is slowing the car up with the rear bodywork drag. Open rear end is best, right?

    I'm running a 48t spur and a 35t pinion. I'm having problems lining them up. Any suggestions

      @DriftomaniacsRC  Před 6 lety +1

      I have to say think about buying an aftermarket motor mount, you're not going to get that to line up with the stock setup easily as it's 55/35 it's setup for. Facebook group is VERY good for advice

    I had to use holes J/A c/b the mesh was way too tight, motor would even turn when I was hard testing

      I've fitted the HR motor mount, fully adjustable e.g. no set holes!

    This make perfect for vta. Would 36 pinion gear fit in without modification?

    • @DriftomaniacsRC
      @DriftomaniacsRC  Před 6 lety +1

      you'd need to try any gearing combos out. Has to be done on a 'fit and feel' basis. There's no traxxas support for anything higher than 35/55T

      VXL version or non-VXL version? Do you have the Bluetooth module for the transmitter? Only ask as if you do you can use the Traxxas app and really set the car up well. Calling it a night but will pick up again tomorrow

    Hey I’m fixing to build a 4tec 2.0 I wanna run 29 /29 mod 1 what all kinds of work will I have to do

    • @DriftomaniacsRC
      @DriftomaniacsRC  Před 6 lety

      I've done a video on fitting a mod 1 setup, however be advised that it was very tempramental and with 1/1 that motor /esc wont' last very long at all. Also you'll end up removing the central bearing which means shaft issues may come in to play. I've opted for the mamba x setup, which runs okay on 4s and 6s. You could try 4-tecc 2.0 group on facebook for more details.
