3RD GEN 4RUNNER FLOPPY MIRROR REPAIR

All three of my 3rd gen 4runners have had this same issue on the drivers side mirror. Since I haven't had any luck finding decent mirrors in the junkyard, I decided to try and fix the mirror. This was an exploratory repair and I only filmed in case it was repairable. This only took maybe an hour, but did require modifying some tools to work. The spring in the mirror is under a lot of tension, so wear safety glasses while pressing the spring.

Awesome quick fix, worked perfect. I used a C- clamp with the swivel head removed to hold the compressed spring while installing clip. thank you.
