Even that 98 all star, we can clearly saw rhe defense was tough from the beginning until the game ended but the greatest prevails.... That is the meaning of basketball, defense is the best offense
We coulda had a 98-99 Bulls team back with Phil, MJ, Pip, Rodman, Kukoc, Harper, and Longley. They were all willing to sign another one year deal and win a 4peat. But the Jerry's refused to bring Phil back, even though he just led them to 3 In a row. Freakin nonsense!
@@Mikebuddy2229 If you're talking about Krause then yes he is one of the greatest GMs of all time. But he had a confidence problem, and that caused a lot of resentment towards Phil and conflict between the two. Jordan said it best In the 97 finals post game conference. "We're entitled to defend what we have until we lose it, And if we lose it then you could say okay... let's go through a change, let's go through a rebuild. But there's no guarantee that a rebuild is going to work. The Cubs have been rebuilding for 42 years." I believe that the Bulls would have likely met the Spurs in the 1999 NBA Finals and ultimately beat them. It would be a hard series, and they were already tired... The 98 Finals we're a tough tough series for Chicago. But Jerry Krause refused to bring Phil back, and ultimately killed the dynasty a year too early in my opinion.
@@Mikebuddy2229 Krause was a fantastic GM. One of the best of all time at his job. But he had a confidence issue which caused turmoil between him and Phil Jackson (And he got very little respect from his players, especially Scotty). But as far as having the Bulls come back another season, I'll just quote what MJ said in the post game press conference after the 97 Finals. "We're entitled to defend what we have until we lose it, And if we lose it then you could say okay... let's go through a change, let's go through a rebuild. But there's no guarantee that a rebuild is going to work over the next 4-5 years. The Cubs have been rebuilding for 42 years." I would have liked to have witnessed the Bulls play one more season, likely facing San Antonio in the 99 Finals. Either way they would have disbanded after the 98-99 season, but we could have quite possibly won 4 in a row.

If it wasn't for Jerry, there wouldn't be a dynasty in Chicago.

It's probably to avoid various copyright strikes.
What's the song playing at 4:28
Anyone notice Grant Hills double-dribble (1:03)?
