As I recall, they filmed two songs that same day, the other was "You're My Best Friend." So poignant as a pair of songs to send J off to his next adventure. He was recently promoted and is currently singing bass with the Navy in DC.
I agree - this is one of their best. And one of Michael's best as well. I find it especially memorable knowing J was leaving for the Navy after this. But they ALL feel sincere in meaning the lyrics here. And it is a gorgeous rendition. Happy New Year to you as well, and may we all take a look at ourselves and who we are and what we can do new.
DeeJay has a glorious voice. He's appeared with VoicePlay a number of times now and always adds that something special. As you say it was J's last song as a full member of the group before joining the navy. They also filmed You're My Best Friend on the same day, which says it all. And he's come back several times when on leave from his duties.
Yes, the last video as a member of VoicePlay before joining the Navy. Now he comes back as a featured artist in quite a few of their newer videos. They have Cesar in the group now and I do believe that they are holding Js spot open because they haven't filled it. You should go to Geoffs' channel and listen to his live videos.

I’ve been subscribed since you first reacted to VoicePlay. I hope you will continue reacting to them. Cesar replaced JNone. It might be fun to watch that happen. His first appearance with them was “We’re Good” then “Butter” (also features DeeJay) and then Cesar’s first appearance as an official member was “If I Were a Rich Man/Girl” ❤
I love them so definitely expect to see more of them here 🙂
