Wish I remembered. I had this bike when I was a teenager into my twenties and road all over on it. I’d love to have another or my first bike a Honda cb125s
#1 - Manifold intake boot is upside-down. #2 The vacuum tube (in black, 5mm, you were wondering) has to be plugged into petcock for vacuum purposes. Or, put the petcock in Prime AND block the tube off to disable the vacuum. Engine will take tons of air in, otherwise. Engine sounds good. Make sure there is enough oil for circulating, prior to start. Good luck.
I've been watching your videos and it's made me want to upload actual videos of me working on my bikes but until I get a camera and a way to edit Im just gonna upload shorts of my work
I use "Shotcut" video editing software, it's free. If you have a smartphone get a cheap mount for it that will fit on a tripod, turn the phone sideways to get full screen recording. Shorts are good too and are popular right now. Thanks for watching.
Vacuum line operates the petcock I suspect.
You are right, It went to the petcock. I should have known that. 😕
Yeah, unless you cap that tube, there is too much air to start. It opens the petcock. Petcock has “On “ and “Pri” for prime.

The carb slide is lifted by the vacuum in duced by the piston downstroke, via the inlet valve and throttle butterfly.
Great video!

Thanks for the info, I forgot about those vacuum actuated petcocks.
