Really makes you feel nostalgic for the good old days, doesn't it?
Lol, definitely. Doesn't hurt that I also watched McLintock this morning.
Love these old tractor videos. Love watching them.
Glad you like them!
Back in the early 80s, when there was still some variety in the tractor market.
Yep, still a whole lot of variety back then. AC, IH, MF, Case, Ford, John Deere, White, Deutz, lots of em. But no more, now its just a few survivors.
We called them Ant eaters for their looks. They are under powered for the traction they have. There are a few in eastern Iowa but they did not catch on very well.
Ours isn't.
I know someone who still uses a 2+2 as a big horse on their farm.
Me too. Big IH fans at a Dairy farm i know.
We still use ours.
Great video! Enjoyed this very much.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I've seen some of these around. Not super common, but popular enough.
Yeah, i still know a couple in use.
Funny, IH put the cab on the front of the articulated loaders
YEET
YOTE
They don't make them like they used to.
That is true. IH hasn't made tractors for a long time. a Case IH these days is just a Red New Holland.
