Fatal Crash Route 80 With 18-Wheeler Jack-Knifed Across Barrier - Hackensack, NJ

May 22nd, 2024 - Hackensack, NJ: At approximately 11:50 p.m., emergency crews responded to Route 80 in the area of Exit 64 in Hackensack for a possible fatal crash involving a jack knifed tractor trailer across the jersey barrier and into the westbound express lanes shutting down all lanes of travel westbound with a totally melted down box truck shuttering the local westbound lanes.

That Toyota SUV who was the primary cause of this accident, escaped scratch free and went on about their night. Hope there was a way to find that culprit and charge him or her for causing this accident. "Toyota SUV traveling east in the local lanes on I-80 in Hackensack hit the curbed median, entered the express lanes and impacted the tractor-trailer."
