I’m so grateful that we have access to a meeting anytime! I’ve been around long enough where I have all the speaker tapes but CZcams is so much better! God bless all the alcoholics that got led to AA! Had I not been an alcoholic I would’ve never been led to the 12 spiritual principles that have set me free!

39years, 3 months of continuous sobriety due to the grace of God and the program of AA! I still go to a lot of meetings trying to help anyone to obtain and maintain their sobriety and to stay sober myself. I have started encouraging people that I hope that they can stay sober forever. A man I’ve been helping is coming up on a year of sobriety. He commented that “forever is a very long time.” I told him that I thought that when you died it possibly got easier? We are living in eternity right now. Seek God every day and do His will for you! God bless you!!

We are sure God wants us to be happy, joyous, and free. We cannot subscribe to the belief that this life is a vale of tears, though it once was just that for many of us. But it is clear that we made our own misery. God didn’t do it. Avoid then, the deliberate manufacture of misery, but if trouble comes, cheerfully capitalize it as an opportunity to demonstrate His omnipotence. P. 133

If you want what we have and are willing to go to any length, then you are ready to take certain steps. At some of these we balked......

when i firdt happened upon this,all i seen was sister. i immediately thoight i wouldn't relate. boy was i wrong. sister B is/was a great speaker. also im irish/catholic,so i get her frustrations with wanting ppl to move past the past w church. dyri g this pain she has,she told an incredible story. thanks for sharing.

Amy C, Canada I am very early in recovery, although I have been in and around the AA program for 30 plus years with some short time soberity due to the fact that I now know is because I never did my 5th step. On coming back to the AA program this time, I was given a CD of Sister Bea!! I listen to it many many times and every time I listen to it I get something new out of it!! God Bless you Sister Bea your message is amazing!! By far the best speaker I have ever heard both in AA and outside help CD's!!

There are two days in every week
about which we should not worry,
Two days which should be kept free of fear and apprehension.
One of these days is YESTERDAY,
With its mistakes and cares,
Its faults and blunders,
Its aches and pains.
YESTERDAY has passed forever beyond our control.
All the money in the world cannot bring back YESTERDAY.
We cannot undo a single act we performed;
We cannot erase a single word we said.
YESTERDAY is gone.
The other day we should not worry about is TOMORROW
With its possible adversities, its burdens, its larger promise.
TOMORROW is also beyond our immediate control.
TOMORROW, the sun will rise,
Either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds,
But it will rise.
Until it does, we have no stake in TOMORROW
For it is as yet unborn.
This leaves only one day - TODAY.
Any man can fight the battles of just one day.
It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities
- YESTERDAY and TOMORROW -
That we break down.
It is not the experience of TODAY that drives men mad.
It is remorse or bitterness for something which happened YESTERDAY
And the dread of what TOMORROW may bring.
Let us, therefore, live but ONE day at a time.
