  • The proper use of car seats is very important in preventing injuries if you are in a crash. In this video, we cover the proper installation and use of the Evenflo Revolve car seat using your vehicle's lap and shoulder seat belt and top tether. If you're unsure whether your car seat is installed correctly, find a car seat tech to have it checked. In Texas, visit BuckleUp.tamu.edu to find a tech near you. Nationwide, visit cert.safekids.org and click on "Find a Tech."

Hello - thank you for this video.
Do you HAVE TO tether the belt behind the seat? What if your car is a compact car and doesn't have this capability?

Yes, the tether is required on this car seat, but even compact cars should have tether anchors available - it's been a requirement in passenger vehicles since Sept 1, 2002. If you're unsure of where they might be located, check your vehicle owner's manual under the LATCH section. We are available to help if needed - just message our page on facebook (facebook.com/PassengerSafetyKidSafeInitiatives), and we'll do our best to help. Or search for a certified CPST in your area at cert.safekids.org. Thanks for your question!
