    comfy,reliable,nimble, sufficient power and fuel efficient with good luggage capacity. Use it for touring and everyday commuting for errands and work. Awesome bike for me.

      🤣🤣🤣If 7300 euros for TechMax, or 6700 euros for regular XMax 300, is ”so hard financially”, then you should look elsewhere. Perhaps Sym or Daytona, Zontes, etc.

      It's not that it's hard, it's comparing how other manufacturers in the market and in the segment can offer more, for less money. And for my own wallet I did chose Zontes :)

      @@RideWithAlex I think the only thing Yamaha has screwed is that Garmin navigation which requires subscription. IMO, if I pay a subscription to Garmin, then I would use a proper Garmin GPS receiver, not the phone, connected to that dashboard and some apps. I think the regular XMax has all what is needed. It is 600 euros cheaper, and if wanted, that comfort seat can be ordered for under 300 euros. And, the Yamaha GPS mount with USB power supply could be mounted, and put whatever Android Auto device on it.

    Hi Alex, once again thanks for this new video ! Yamaha is a brand with an impressive history starting in 1887 as an organ & piano manufacturer, diversifying from 1955 to motorbikes with its first model of 125cc (😂 like my Zontes scooter) ! X-max looks solid, even nimble for city traffic. On the other side the price reflects the Yamaha brand and you must pay more for Japanese quality.       The price does reflect the brand but to be honest it felt good and very well put together but on the other hand smaller manufacturers like zontes are starting to catch up and I think the big manufacturers have to start taking not of these "Chinese" brands because they might be in trouble.

      @@RideWithAlex just bought myself an XMAX 300 a couple of months ago... the fuel consumption is extremely low (i get an average of about 3L / 100 km combined with passenger 90% of the time). HOWEVER.....after i saw the new Zontes 368G they might release soon i think the days of my Yamaha are numbered :))) Zontes is soooo much more packed with goodies and value-wise. Also it has a more powerful motor and suspension-wise.... is a dream

    Just put the first 1100 miles on my Techmax 300 - the engine is surprising willing and the bike is a delight on the fast twisty A-Roads here in Wales. The only let down so far is that the bluetooth connectivity is flaky and unreliable. Hopefully a future software update will sort that. Compared to my previous two Kymco 300's it is a definite step up in both quality and performance. I have found that for me at 183cm tall the seat and foot forward position is actually quite comfortable for a couple of hours in the saddle and I would not go more than that without a break. A bit pricey but all in all great bike.

      @@ewob52h74 It had more to do with the change of dealerships in my area rather than anything inherently wrong with the Kymcos. Both the Downtown 300i and the X-town 300 were solid and reliable bikes. That said at higher speeds the Xmax is a more relaxed ride and unlike the Kymcos I have yet to ground the centre stand on a bend. For most usage cases the Kymcos were superb bikes.

    The Yamaha has a wheelbase of 1540mm, whereas the Zontes is 1565mm which would explain why the feels more agile.

    Finally the xmax 300!🙂
    The dash of the pre-facelift model with analog dials was way better. This 50%digital-50%navi-info screen is quite embarassing in my opinion.
    The engine is truly good, with a fantastic fuel consumption. I hope you have the chance to take one of these to a road trip, it would shine there.

    I have exactly this line of xmax 300. Solid scooter and very good fuel consumption, among the best in the 300 cc class. The worst part of the scooter is the rear suspension. However, I'm planing to sell it over the winter time and get a Honda Forza 750 for next season. I haven't driven it yet, so if you get the chance to test it, I'd be grateful... greetings from Croatia

      Ne kupuj Forzu 750. Ja sam bio odusevljen izgledom pa sam je kupio. Imao sam novu forzu 750 i prodao je pa kupio xmax 300. Dct mjenjac cudno mjenja brzine trza pri saltanju teska je po gradu ima 245 kg. U toku voznje stalno se trudi da bude u 6 brzini i to je jako naporno jer moras stalno da vracas brzine u nizu u kom god da si modu voznje... itd mogao bi do sutra. Ako zelis skuter kupi t max ili kymco ak 550 premium. Nemoj se zajebat kao ja. Pozz 😅

      @@djmurazeljko .... Pozdrav majstore, ja se vozim jaaako malo po gradu. Do posla i nazad imam 120 km i riječ je o otvorenoj cesti ... 70 - 100 km/h. Čak i malo autoceste. Nije loš xmax ali mislim da je to najbolji skuter baš za grad. Na otvorenom mu malo nestaje daha ili ga moraš voziti iznad 6000 okretaja. Također, ako Vas je dvoje, zadnji amortizer je za drek. Moj je problem što nisam vozio nikada 500 + cc skutere. Ljudi hvale xadv 750 i forzu 750 (veći kotači, prava suspenzija, šasija, dobar motor) i tmax. Nisam bajker pa klasični motor otpada. A i prestar sam za takve stvari. Hvala za informacije o forzi iz prve ruke te pitanje dal si možda vozio Xadv 750? Jednako je težak ali je riječ o drugčijem konceptu. Tmx je tezak 220kg a Kymco 240kg. Fala

      @@edo952 isto je i sa xadv 750 samo sto je jos bolja zastita od vjetra na forci. Pouzdani su to motori lijepi ali posle ovog iskustva i novog motora model 2024 nikada vise. Ko moze da se navikne na taj mjenjac i na stalno klik klak zvuk i trzanje u voznji narocito po gradu njemu nece smetati. Da ne pominjem grijanje motora jer su izduvi upereni direktno u noge. Samo t xmax 560 ili kymco 550 tj bilo sta na cvt prenos da je jace. Lp

    Hi... Need your honest review... As i am also abt 1.78m tall... And I am still thinking more about the comfort for my pillion..
    Which bike is more comfortable...

    Zontes 350E
    Yamaha Xmax 300
    I almost want to make the decisions but I need a person like you who tested all 3 to let me what you feels... That good feeling is the most important part of the decisions 😅

      În terms of comfort with or without a pillion the zontes is by far the best one, it's just bigger and has more room.

    I can't decide between BMW c400Gt or this xmax or the Honda forza 350...any suggestions? Price doesn't matter

      I had the same question 6 months ago... I followed every aspect, and I decided that the Honda ADV 350 was the best for my needs... The under seat storage, motorcycle suspensions, and the supermoto feeling helped me to make the best decision. The ADV350 is not for offroad experience, but the suspension is really good for speed bumpers and pot holes. It has phone connectivity and a dedicated app (Road Sync), but in Romania and some other countries, it's not available... I was looking for the BMW C400GT, but the storage criteria eliminated this model. The Xmax 300 is very comfortable, and the scooter suspension was the criteria that eliminated this scooter and also the Forza 350. I hope you find this useful in your decision.

      Hello I am driving c400gt and this is great hitech scooter. Better then then the XMAX and Forza 350 (tried them both short term) but again it cost more. You will be happy with any of them. They are all great with their prons and cons. But if money is not the problem, and you want the best, do not think far away and buy TMAX. You will drive all this scooters 300-350cc BMW, Yamaha and Honda but you will want more after the 2 years max.

    Too bad it's not the 2024 model but the 2023 model. Are you wondering how I know? On the 2024 model, the gray border around the screens and the gray plastic on the handlebars are actually glossy black. So you are presenting us with a different model than the one you are talking about.

      Sorry if the color of the plastics makes a difference that how the scooter runs. When I test road it the dealer said it's the 2024 model, so it's not really my fault. That's the information they gave me.

    Salut om frumos! Scriu in romana pt ca merge mai repede! Prima chestie, pretul de achizitie, nu se justifica sub nici o forma in ceea ce ofera! Au pus niste brizbrizuri estetice si ceva tehnologie, asa, cat sa iti ia ochii si sa iti goleasca buzunarul! Deh, boala societatii de consum, vorva aia, trebuie sa faca si ei un profit ...barosan, ca doar sunt Yamaha! Ca si patanteza sunt o persoana care lucreaza de aproape 30 de ani in marketing si publicitate, asa ca, no offense, dar aproape totul este exagerat, iar consumatorul, nauc, cumpara ca prostul chestii de ego, de care nu are nevoie reala si care ii satisfac doar nevoia ...narcisica a uitatului in ...propria oglinda!
    Acum, gasesti la Kymco sau la voi, la Sym, Zontes, ptoduse similare ca si calitate, la preturi mult mai mici!
    Am vrut sa imi cumpar un Zontes 310 M, din pacate nu mi-am permis, asa ca m-am multumit cu mai putina putere si am achizitionat u Kymco Skytown 125. Stiu, e concurenta voastra directa, dar poate faci un review!
    La anul am in minte un Sym ADX 300, inteleg ca apare prin vara asta!
    Legat de canalul tau, este foarte, foarte fain! Tine-o tot asa! Sa faci 100 k abonati!! Numai bine! Ionut

      Salut, foarte concret comentariu ce reflecta ce vad și eu la mulți consumatori în ziua de azi. Foarte bine ca ai reușit sa găsești ceva la Kymco ce ți se potrivește. Deși lucrez la un importator mie îmi place sa zic "I like bike" nu am vreo loialitate fata de un brand ci prefer sa iau ceva din showroomul nostru din cauza avantajelor de angajat, țin cu portofelul meu dar astfel am descoperit branduri fără renumele celor consacrate care din multe puncte de vedere le dau clasa. Spre exemplu honda pe PCX încă pune tambur pe spate fără ABS, pe când exista branduri pe piață cu scutere de 125 la jumătate de preț fata de pcx care cumva reușesc sa ofere frână pe disc pe spate, dar cumva încă auzi "Honda-i Honda" 😕. Consumatorul nostru nu prea știe sa voteze cu portofelul. Legat de ADX 300 speram sa îl vedem anul asta dar încă nu știm când.

      @@RideWithAlex vad ca inca nu te-ai lecuit de faza cu honda pcx :)) ca e a mia oara cand o repeti si ti s-a mai spus. nici nu ai mers pe vreuna cinci minute ca sa vezi cum e, la cat hate ai internalizat pentru modelul asta si daca l-ai testa acum oricum i-ai cauta nod in papură. eu am avut fix PCX aproape doi ani și a fost genial, imi pare rau ca l-am dat si imi voi cumpara altul, in primul rand e mult mai rafinat si construit mai bine, am comparat direct cu un sym jet x al unui baiat, cand a pornit motorul bârâia din toate plasticele si era f zgomotos, la honda nici nu se aude. Plus ca tu la al tau ai povestit ca ai reparat furca de mai multe ori, ti-au cazut diverse piese, chestie nemaiauzita la honda care ajunge si la 100.000km fara sa schimbi nimic, uneori nici macar cureaua. D-aia il ridica lumea in slavi. Plus e si consumul, ia 1,8-2%, sym-urile sub 3 nu prea scad, doar din diferenta aia de 1L/100km daca il tii cativa ani recuperezi diferenta de preț, plus calitatea si faptul ca nu se strica.
      Honda vs chineze e ca iphone vs huawei, teoretic si pe hartie e una, cand le incerci si le detii intelegi diferenta, calitatea materialelor, design-ul, cat de bine rezista in timp, eficiența. Sa mai spun ca honda ti-l tine in garantie 200.000km daca faci reviziile la ei in timp ce sym iti ofera 25.000 si după la revedere?
      orice scuter e bun cand te plimbi prima data zece minute cu el si are 1000km, nu iti poti da seama de aproape nimic, yamaha nmax si honda pcx sunt lidere pe piata cu un motiv bun, cauta sym-uri vechi de 5 ani sa vezi ce rablagite sunt majoritatea.
      faci review-uri interesante uneori dar incearca sa fii mai impartial

      @@LiviuXSA dar nu am zis ca pcx-ul e prost, știu foarte bine ca e un scuter extrem de bun, dar când știu motivul pentru care încă are tambur pe spate nu pot susține producătorul care nu pune preț pe ai săi clienți. Admir honda pentru multe modele inclusiv am dream bike honda (goldwing). Inginerii sunt fenomenali și motocicletele la fel dar cei de sus de la birouri care aleg ce dotări se pun pe ce modele ca să te oblige sa urci în gama dacă vrei o anume dotare ma dezgusta, și ju e honda singurul. Și liberty are tambur pe spate ca să îți cumperi mai scumpul medley.

      @@RideWithAlex asta așa e dar nu există padure fara uscaciuni, la cat 130kg are si 60-70 viteza medie cu cat se merge tamburul e arhisuficient, am peste 100kg si n am dus lipsă de frâne vreodată. scuterele sunt foarte bune, marele minus la honda România sunt din păcate angajații din magazine si atitudinea lor, lipsa de respect față de clienți etc.
      daca ar scoate si altcineva un motor atat de fin, consum 2% si spațiul ala sub șa imens ar detrona pcx-ul dar pana una alta nu exista varianta mai buna
