Thanks for telling us! I've got five year old lapacho tea here which was given as a gift to me. I think it caused internal bleeding when I drank it to fight covid 19, but it did seemingly help me to recover health for a while. I guess mould on tea might not be a bad thing, although I'll still need to look for more information. My favourite teas are usually organic as they would be healthier and tastier, but pukka have a new tea called "peace" with ashwaganda, hemp and mint in it, and I find it helps me to drink less coffee!
@@slambangwallop Hemp is great for a number of things, ashwaganhda is an adaptogen and natural tonic. I think its safe to follow our 'gut feeling' as to what is beneficial for us at a given moment. The body doesn't speak english but it gives us very clear signs in the form of preferences. Lapacho is said to rgenerate the immune system, so if there was any blood, it may have come from a pevious renal or urinary inflammation, or the tea itself may have such a strong colour that might be mistaken for blood, beetroot for example is famous for the scary colour on the exit side. These are just some thoughts, didn't mean to be personal.

As @Mandragara commented earlier, there are two types of storage: wet storage and dry storage. But even in wet storage, you don't want any mold to develop on your pu-erh as it will simply ruin the tea cake. Pu-erh with mold is not a drinkable tea, no matter what greedy sellers may try to convince you;) Please Google it. And, of course, there are no antibiotics in pu-erh. Sorry to disappoint:) But the good news is that good quality pu-erh, raw or ripe (sheng or shou) is an amazingly tasty tea:)

Dao is similar to something I've tried to explain to others with Cannabis but never had a word for it other than character. The character is developed through the life of the plant. The stress it undertakes, the love given into it, the environment it lives in, the interaction and bond developed with the caretaker and life around it, such as other plants animals, rain, sun, vibrations and anything that is energy and life surrounding it. Through all of this it develops its character and individuality just as every interaction we as humans have helps shape us as individuals. I usually lose people and am dismissed as crazy for claiming this unless interacting with others who have experienced this themselves. The idea that each life or energy on this planet whether it is a caterpillar, worm, blade of grass, tree, animal or person is unique and individual with its own 'story' is pretty daunting I suppose. It was a great day when I made this realization and forced me to put more thought into the effects of my actions. You truly get out what you put in with energy. If it is positive energy it will be absorbed into all things around you, if you put out negative energy the same is true. For some I suppose it is tea, but for me it was a love for cannabis that was a gateway to understanding the energy of life around all of us better and though I've separated myself from the plant I appreciate the insight it has brought to me over the years. Not necessarily from consuming it although that helped shift my perspective but I was blind to the concept for years until love and passion developed from raising and caring for it that I had never experienced before that I was able to carry over into other aspects of my own life and I can now hopefully pass that insight along to my child through nature. Try Yerba Mate instead of coffee. That is the only tea that helped me stop the coffee habit. Now I don't take any caffeine and have much more stable energy. But being addicted to coffee blows try Yerba Mate.
There is one very small, however at the same time very large aspect of appreciation of the tea, and such is in direct line of the one serving the tea. The appreciation is in the order of service from the beginning of life, and the death before life taken to accomplish new life. There is common misconception that any secret to self-mastery is possible since each self is mastered differently whether the same rules apply or not based on need. Therefore, the secret of one is not always applicable to another, and just as the chain of genetic code naturally differs from one to the next so does the tea leaf and the drop of water each separated, and taking different ways. So much as we are the same so we are also different. Many know the way, however not all walk the way.

Yes, it’s called yixing clay; sometimes referred to as purple clay or red clay. It’s an untreated clay. Puerh is the first tea created and one of the most sacred, so traditionally you will have a pot specifically used for puerh tea and over time the pot is “seasoned” by the tea.
I think you will find that your herbs also have stimulants or sedatives in them. Nothing wrong with that of course, just no need to single out tea for having caffiene ;)
Not real! Good quality tea yeah, it has caffeine but has many other good things for our health. Actually drinking good quality green tea is good for stress. I recommend you "Wu Montain Tea" channel. He has a masterclass of different videos on tea talking all tea basics. Also he talks about the scientifical research on tea (he has a PDH on tea). I have recently discovered this world, snd i was scared of "the stimulant" nature of tea, but i can tell you is nothing like coffee or of course a energy drink...give it a chance

Green tea and yellow to dark brown color. I added two variant found everywhere in Cambodia for 1000 Riel only, usually from Vietnam. In this country you get free tea at most restaurants and coffee shops. Tea is everywhere. I thought only I did such odd things with tea. I usually read modern day studies and older literature myself, to find out the powers and healing properties while drinking the tea. Looking at your video, I didn't realise, I had a lot of tea rituals in Guangzhou already, I just didn't know it until now. @@mdimich1021 I wrote about this in a book of mine. I’ve had chronic pain for 22.5 years and cannabis has been one of the few reliefs. I do believe there is a noticeable difference grower to grower, and that intent is usually a large contributing factor if not the largest. You can tell when someone on the grow end actually cares about improving the life of someone like me down the line through a silly little plant. Much love and thanks to you for your work.

That is wet storage puer. Dry storage puer does not mould. I have 2003 tea from Myanmar, dry storage, no mould at all - even still look a bit green

I do believe there is a noticeable difference grower to grower, and that intent is usually a large contributing factor if not the largest. You can tell when someone on the grow end actually cares about improving the life of someone like me down the line through a silly little plant.
