I set out to make two outdoor tables from pallet wood. I had not been in a good place when i started the build. But making the table made me realise that transforming the pallets was really about transforming myself.
thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the video

Oh thanks so much Jesper that means a lot
Hey Jesper. Good to see you here 👍. Hope all is well.

Steve, the philosopher, great video. Plenty food for thought.
Thanks so much for watching I’ll be one of the great Stoics soon
Beautiful, the work, the message, everything. I love working with reclaimed wood too, making the discarded Beautiful. Recently I made a palletwood work top for a campervan conversion. Subscriber gained
Thanks so much Robert I’m really glad you enjoyed it. It’s a really nice feeling to use recycled materials
Inspirational video. Love how you relate the wood to life events and a lovely design of table too. Good job.
Thanks so much Neil I’m really glad you enjoyed the video
That is art! I'm a pallet hustler and I have built some things like bird boxes but this is inspiring!
Oh thanks so much that’s inspiring for me to hear
Great video Steve, and I know the feeling. The side table looks very cool! 👏

Woodworking video with deep thoughts, great combination. Keep up this theme, it's unique, and that's the key to a great channel. You've got another follower in me.
Thanks so much I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I wanted to try something different something more me I’m glad you liked this style and thanks for following me have a great weekend
Great table Steve. Loved the video and the narration was great.
As of old to new - most of my workshop is pallet wood and sheet goods that came from the top of them. There something good about reusing materials that others didn’t want.
Have a good weekend !!
Thank you so much your so right it’s really satisfying to give things and materials a second life
Thanks mate. Great video, looking forward to more :)
Thanks so much cheered mate
Great message Steve! Life is full of metaphor and so are pallets! I mostly use pallets and it truly feels good changing 💩 into something useful, beautiful, rustic, and or just a piece of art, decoration, or just a way to connect with your children.
I’m with you all the way man thanks so much for watching
Very nice project 👌 👏
Thanks Glen
Nice work, Steve! Soooo true!
Thanks so much David
Great video to see and at a poignant moment for me. When I am taking a step back to reflect. 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Thanks Martin the words wrote themselves as that was how I was thinking at the time
Love the video! The story telling is great and makes me think about my own life, - and what might need "adjustment". Its relaxing watching you build and listening to the story while i note all the smart "woodworking stuf" you do. doublesided tape for templates, nails for drying painted parts, rough cut with band saw or jig saw and flush trim with router etc etc. Also a lot of things to note in my "smart things to know when doing woodworking" book in your previous video. Please keep 'em coming Steve!
Thanks so much Thor for your great comments. I’m so glad you enjoy the video and that it struck a chi with you. I hope your well and thanks again
Your so inspiring mate! This turned out really good!
Thanks Pierre your the best

Nice work mate. I never would have of those colors for a table but they work well 👍
Thanks yeh I would normally go for a more natural finish but it’s good to try new things
Beautiful tables Steve
Thanks you so much
Great video Steve ! Really came out well !
Thanks Lewis it means a lot
@@SteveBellCreates so do your videos mate, to a lot of people !
Great video and great results from the pallets. I will be building my grand-daughters a new cubby using pallets as the main structural part of the floor and the walls. I tend not to use too many pallets as live close to a saw mill and get lots of off cuts and mistakes. I will also be getting lots of the first cuts from logs to use on the outside of the cubby to make it look like a bark slab hut or a log cabin.
Thanks Steve. Your project for your granddaughters sounds awesome 🤩
great video and table!
Thank you so much
Wow a great video and a great result 😍

Thanks so much Rat person
Awesome video, and the supporting words.
Thanks so much Nigel your too kind
I built a manual version of the nail remover, using a steel tube and a cutoff nail.
Works like a charm. I think I need to upload it as a video. 🙂
Oh man that sounds like a video that needs to be made
Quick tip from a pro, make yourself a router table. It is guaranteed 100% fun making it, it will save lots of time and if the router is powerful enough, you wouldn't even need a spindle moulder.
Hi thanks I have an old router table which is past its best and your right I need to build another one
What’s that tool you use to break the pallets up?
Hi funnily enough it’s called a pallet buster

My old fella is turned in to a new man everytime I cut his hair 😂😂 does that count?! 😂😂 (@No1projects)
Haha I’d better cut mine every day if that works 😂
