I wonder if this can erase crash on SRS module in 2018 Nissan Sentra via OBD easy way, no bench ?
hi i just got the tool and tried for a 2020 honda but I was not able to clear any tips or help would be very appreciated i tried doing it via obd and when the tool got the srs part number it was different from what part number is on the car part number on car is 77959-tba-a060
but i could not find on the list of supported modules so now im not sure what to do. do i try the bench method or since its not in the list it will not work any help would be great thank you really liked the tool but no benefit if it does not work

The P50 has auto identify function .
In this video the auto identify function is tested, you can also enter it with your scanner.
@@globalcommerce7654 The new software they released a few months ago has a few bugs in it that they have not fixed yet. Before the older software had ''fuzzy'' search and that is missing in new software ,very helpful when your doing modules on bench and the new software some of the wiring pinouts are wrong like some Hondas and Nissans I have run into. I hope they fix it soon.

So I picked up the P50 and some air bag modules at the pick n pull. I have 2 modules listed on the P50. Neither one of them reads on bench. I have verified pin-out multiple times. Power switch is on. Can anyone think of anything causing this? Much appreciated!

@@globalcommerce7654 thank you for your reply and your videos. It's just so frustrating that something is reported as can be done but when you try it then you realise the obdstar will not work. Convey that message to obdstar support. Tell them to remove devices from their list that doesn't work. Ensure that only devices that have been tested are listed as working

I don't understand your question but this can reset via obd yes.
Obdstar P50 does not do Toyotas which is a bummer because that is the most common car that people buy. I was doing a 2011 Toyota RAV4 with module number 89170-0R020. It does not work on obd so I did it in bench mode. It does not clear crash data. For another similar module, it cleared crash data on bench but now there are no fault codes but the air bag light is still on. Please let me know if you find a solution. I have autel Maxicom and I don't have Autel IM608. to read/write to eeprom Is there a cheaper option to read eeprom as I don't need Autel IM608?
Most likely you have to reprogram the module back to the vehicle sometimes when you reset you have to reprogram the seat weight sensors.
@julioochoa3743 There are no fault codes and no malfunction in the seat. Do I still need to do calibration?
@@user-ud3se1dk3v yes i had the same isue with a 2014 civic i resetet the module and light was still on i calibrated the seat and light went off.but question did u reset the module with this obdstar scanner?
Reason im asking is because if you did and if you didnt weld the resistor how it shows on the guide from the obdstar p50 and you erase the crash data it burns the module i just had same issue with a 2016 subaru and when i plug my obd scanner it doesnt read no fault codes and the light just stays on i had to get a new module hope this helps.
@julioochoa3743 I reset with obdstar p50.I don’t think it says to remove the resistor for 2011 Toyota RAV4. For 2015 Suburau BRZ, it says to remove the resistor, If you don't, it just corrupts the files in the flash.

that's the normal for honda, when crash data is stored you will not be able to read and dtc
When crash data is in you cant delete dtcs
