I was still taking the K2 but noticed after 3 days that the hives got worse at night after I took it with dinner. I also had dizzy spells. I stopped taking it and after 3 weeks, the side effects finally went away. I now realize I must not be able to take it so I will have to get my K2 naturally from foods.

    TL:DR; Dr Berg could you do a video on breastfeeding and (stagnant) weight-loss?
    My girlfriend is still breastfeeding our child who is 14months (not exclusively but a lot) and she has done I.F. for 10 months (baby is fine). she eats high fat mod protein low carb, 3 meals a day whole food organic. and she has lost 15lbs but cannot shed the last 5-10lbs and has been stuck for about 4 months. Metabolism problem? Being a female I know what she wants to do - reduce calories further. I am suggesting the opposite for 1-2 weeks. Hormone problem?
    Also I firmly belive that breastfeeding causes weight loss is a MYTH and it actually does the opposite, stops the mother starving to death to protect the baby - the body is fascinating.

    • @Jimvesterstallone
      @Jimvesterstallone Před 7 lety +3

      When I breastfed, everything tasted ten times better than it ever had in my life and I ate 3 times my normal portion of food at every meal. Yet the weight came off effortlessly (I seriously ate like a mad woman and did nothing to lose weight). You mentioned that she is still breastfeeding - I am betting that the body holds a small reserve of fat until breastfeeding ends. I am certainly no authority, but I would say this is not a hormone problem, but on the contrary, her hormones are probably functioning exactly as they should.

At that time his , BSl is high, since body cannot use sugar or glucose, body uses fat and that person looses weight quickly. So when all the fat stores are used up. Is there only glycogen storage that is left in the liver which can be cleared up with intermittent fasting and having healthy diet or there is visceral fat still left. Does body uses visceral fat or fat inside the liver as well when BSL is very high and type 2 Diabetic is not taking and glucose lowering medication. Please answer. Also what is the insulin status at that time. Is it high low or normal ??

    Thanks Dr Berg... I love these short, sweet, 'info bombs' of education ; D... looks like I'm sticking to natto, took me forever to figure out what it was, and then to find it... it's often just called fermented soy beans (what it is...) but I didn't know Miso was another source (but of course!..)

    Natto is foul. I tried it. It looks and smells like it's off, so it's an acquired taste, and it's not easy to find. Having said that, I've yet to check my nearest Japanese food shop. Miso I like, and sauerkraut, but most of the ones I've seen are pasteurised.

    Dr Berg, I try taking Nattokinase but find that I start to experience being "hot", almost unbearable at night. The one I take is Non-GMO & made in the US. Says it does not contain soy, but then says "Nattokinase (from Soy) Nattokinase activity 4,000 Fibrinolytic Units". Do I need to stop it or up my Estrogen Support from you? It actually seems to help my plantar fasciitis & my trigger finger pain. I am not sure what direction to take.

      Look at your teeth, cutters in the front (incisors), tearers in the corners (canines), munchers in the back (molars). We're Omnivores, and trying to deny that empirical fact is simply a denial of blatant facts, regardless of the reasoning.
      Horses, All munchers. Herbivores
      Lions, All tearers, Carnivores
      Humans, combination, Omnivores
      The problem is in the quality AND diversity of food products.
