How To Draw A Ladybug with Colored Pencils & Marker || Lysa Roberts Art

- Hello everyone! Join me as I show you how I draw this ladybug using colored pencils and markers on toned paper in my sketchbook. I also used a white Gelly Roll Gel pen for the final highlights and sparkles. It was so much fun!! I am new to the world of colored pencils, but please let me know if you'd like to see more videos like this in the future.

This is great! I also found out the hard way that I could not layer lights over darks. That is a great tip about adding orange and yellow to the red to highlight. When I was coloring in my roses on the piece you commented on, I really struggled with that. Watching this would have saved me some time. :)
Art and I thanks so much!! I do appreciate it. I'm learning as I go but luckily I am able to carry over some techniques from painting. But yes, there are lots of differences and I too, learned the hard way😁
