- Do you have a favorite fishing buddy? Hopefully all of us do. Someone we genuinely get along with, have fun on the river with, and its never a competition. In this video, I got to spend the day on the water with my good buddy Nick. We caught lots of fish, had a bunch of laughs, and enjoyed a day on the water together. We did get into some nice fish, which always makes the trip a little sweeter. That blow torch is a solid fly, especially when water is up or colored. Glad these fish felt the same. Tight lines Gordon!

When was this recorded ? I figured that stream would be too warm this time of year.
Hey Mark,
This was recorded in mid June after the rains had gotten flows back up. We were there early in the morning and off the water before heat of the day. Water was in low 60s. I’ve seen this stream get too warm for fish/fishing and had to leave before. Thankfully this was not one of those days. I bet after this last heat wave that stream is a shell of itself. I won’t mention it by name but if you know it then it’s nice to have a place like that to fish close to you. Tight lines!
