That song keeps reminding me that living your best is the way to go and to let God be in control and to not let any temptation railroad someone into giving in. Josh Turner has conveyed a great message that really does resonate even today. Long Black Train is a fantastic song to hear and sing along to. I still love it Josh; thank you so much buddy.

Great song it's one of my favorite songs.
A great song gets into people's hearts and minds and rises to the surface when they need to hear the message. An effective witness does the same. "Long Black Train" qualifies as both great music and a great witness. Its imagery is powerful, while the simplicity and directness of its message makes it really accessible to someone standing at a dark crossroad in search of guidance, fortitude, and hope. I deeply appreciate your insight. This song has stuck with me since I was 9 years old. Now I'm 29 and have reckoned with temptation on numerous accounts. I'm so thankful that I have songs like this to pull me back in when I feel lost or stuck.
Its a verry good song who I am listening many time. It was one of the first song I heard from Josh and then I been averry big fan of him all the way from Norway. Its a shame I cant see him here in Norway becous I love all his song spessely his gospelsong now. Thanks for all your fine songs

Only one thing can save you every day in every way from the repeated constant inducements to ride the long black train.
Your faith that your Lord Jesus is always with you, strengthening you always to resist the temptations of Satan, who Jesus when he walked this Earth as a man was tempted even as we are by Satan, and resisted Satan every time being strengthened by faith as He replied to Satan with admonishment by Holy Scripture.
Straight is the path and narrow is the way.
Pray believing, asking the Holy Spirit be with you on your temporary journey through life on Earth.
