I met Johnny Cash when I was 6 yrs old (1972) it was the last time the Statler Brothers were on tour with John so I met them all. What I remember most is how Johnny's voice made me feel, Safe/warm/accepted. He picked me up sat me on his lap and immediately chuckled because I tucked my head under his chin and settled in . lol I remember Harold Reid walked over and told Johnny it wasn't fair that he got all the girls and I got hugs from them too. John called over to June Hey June I think we have an extra girl, I remember her smiling at John and saying well we've got room. I wanted to stay there forever. The difference between artist's then and now is mostly that they were touchable / present in the moment with their fans. That matters.

I have always loved to hear Randy Travis sing Forever & Ever Amen. Josh is one of my favorite country singers & love to hear him sing gospel too. My favorite now. Love your voice & smile!

So glad I listened to the interview on the radio on my way to work because at the end of the interview Randy did the final amen on Forever and Ever. I am disappointed that it was not on this video. I was really looking forward to seeing them perform. Is there somewhere we can see that? Thanks.

Sound the same nothing really changed
His voice healed with time so it likely went back to its usual progression but he had better knowledge of singing technique and how to use his voice after the injury so it got stronger over time

deep voices need to have a lot of testosterone to even happen. But not having a deep voice does not necessarily mean you dont have high testosterone.
