Paano eku my grandmum was a sugar bread baker whilst her sister was baking this bread and they would walk from cape coast to Moree to sell when my mum was a kid. There was an orange kraft cheese in a blue tin imported into Ghana and it was sold with it. When I was growing up they had stopped going to moree but the cheese was still in Ghana up to about early 70 we looked forward to visiting them because of the aroma of fresh bread being baked. They don’t sell it anymore but I have found it in Caribbean shops in UK. Missing them.

The beauty of tea/bread is you need to knead a lot about 2times kneaded in portions/floured as usual and leave the dough to rise naturally before it goes into the oven. Light and soft touch. I can see you didn't kneaded a lot with your palms.

If you have allowed the dough shaped on the floured bread pans/sheets and had left to rise on its own before baking perhaps the size of the portions will be bigger than what you had. The bread is small in size. Eg self raising/all flours flour for baking cakes and all after mixing, leave the mixtures scoop in the tins for a while for the mixture to rise on its on naturally, before putting the mixtures into the oven. Heat hitting rising of the dough will shrink the cake or the bread. You will say to yourself plenty mixture but the result was small.
