  • San Francisco's fickle summer weather has earned it the nickname "Fog City." Science on the SPOT asks UC Berkeley's Todd Dawson to clear up the mysterious origins of this weather phenomenon, and share his research on how fog is integral to our state's ecology.

In my 3rd world country we don't get fogs, we get pollution fogs that basically make you spit and blow back stuff out of your nose. I thought that was a fog...
Guess you people have ones that are healthy lol

Here in San Francisco , we also have a pollution fog that waits in hiding so they can smash your car window and steal your stuff. This 'fog' also will take your bike, your wallet, and will grab your expensive cute dogs that you walk at night . So see, we have criminal fog here

But we can't talk about the 'criminal fog' here. We must pretend it doesn't exist. Do not attempt to criminalize the fog and without any exception never describe the fog that stold from you.
