Very cool, I believe you and my pops are the same age, he loves these old annual kits!!! He tells me about ones he built as a kid and teen and how it was, sounded very cool! 🤙🏼

Glad you enjoyed the Throwbacks! Yeah, we love these old classics, they are not anywhere detailed as newer kits, but they sure build out nice and look great on the shelf!
Get better soon. I love those vintage car sets. They're neat. Have the 62 Impala and the 58 Impala. The build sheet for the 58 is identical to the Ala Impala except the original had an extra scoop for the roof.

Cool kit and Kustoms! How do you clean up the chrome before you have it re-chromed? Do you dip it something and rub off the rest of the old chrome, do you have to do some light sanding?
Yes brother, on the stuff that had been rechromed, we would de chrome, remove seems and clean it up then have it redone! Looks nice with some Kandy paint work around it!! Normally purple power strips the chrome off then lightly work out the seems 🤙🏼
