Dude, this is no lie. I just switched the relays the way you did, and MY AIR STARTED WORKING, just like yours did. You just saved me, probably, hundreds of dollars. You rock like no other my friend !
Appreciate you taking the time to do these videos Mario. I own a 07 Odyssey so it is quite helpful. I will now go to my mitchel1diyer schematic a trace it out for myself just to become familiar with the circuit. I got in touch with Cody and placed an order for two pulse sensors. Once again thanks for taking the time to teach us. 👍👍👍
Thank you Mario. Good job. Have a blessed and safe week.
Great vid man, you killed it. Nothing better than a quick diag.
Thank you. Great diagnosis and simple to follow.🙌🙏
Love it man, people are going to eat up this real time diagnosis
I think you just helped me with my AC problem, thank you so much.
Ist time subscriber and I like your methods bro!
That was fast 😁 Good job man. Thanks for sharing! 👍
Well done Mario,thx for sharing.
Great video Mario. Thanks for sharing with us. Testing at the relay is great procedure cause technically you have the whole circuit right there.
Side note. Digging the new box setup.
😂Haha thanks brother!
Good vid learning lots of great quick testing tips
You just saved me no telling how much time and money by not having to pull the compressor and replace it. Thanks!
Sweet diagnosis along with some great diagnostic advice. Thanks!
Hey bud great to see you taking the time to comment! Thank you very much!
Awesome real time diag!!! Latley it's been evaporator core after evaporator core and condenser issue for me. Keep it up
Nice diag Mario! Quick & effective $$ in the bank 😎
3 words,super Mario diagnostics,great video mario
OK MARIO..., REAL TIME , REAL COOL , REAL NICE BRIEF VIEW OF THAT DIAGNOSTIC DRAWER SETUP THANKS . PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING WE WILL WATCH THEM ALL MARIO NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY !
Nice and easy fix, good work sir😊
Thank you for creating this video! That solved the issue with my 2008 honda odyssey. It was a bad relay.
Awesome video Mario. Sometimes you get burnt with AC electrical issues because the system can still be low on freon. I make it a habit of always doing an evac and recharge just to be on the safe side. These Newer Nissans with the electric control valves in the compressor will still tell the compressor to turn on with less than half a full charge. This is where a good service writer comes into play as well. They should be advising the customers that "look we got your compressor working again but your car is old and there could still be leaks in the system"
Before i started working for Nissan I was working at an independent, we used to keep a few of those honda AC relays in stock . lol..
Great video. Thanks for the tip!
Good video. Thanks for the information.
Awesome video, fast fix!!!!
Great video much appreciated
Awesome diag, thank you
Very nice job sir. Cheap fix. Thank you.
Thank you so much I will go check my relays when I get home
Great video Mario! I like starting the test at a relay as well. There usually isn’t an easier place to split a circuit in half!
Good job, again!
Your spot on that's always the way I see it. You are splitting the circuit in half.
This was my problem. Tx for the vid. got a new relay and fixed it myself
Good stuff thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing. God bless you
Nice walk through!
Great video, Glad I subscribed!
Much appreciated!
Loved it!
Dang you are the master and just fixed my odyssey’s a/c
Good stuff, and fast, too!
What ATTEMPT?? Lol
sounds like a thriller
Good tips , I have a relay buddy to test relays and good visual tool for the customer to see go or no go .
Some many people dont understand relay operation.
Great video
You are awesome you help me at lot
Good job, keeping it simple. I also go straight for the relay first. You can get a lot of information just by checking the control and load side pins in the relay socket. And relays seem to fail often.
Absolutely! Thanks for swinging by!
Always you the best boss
Great video. Like ac diag.videos alot....
Thank you🎉
Love the real time...aspect...get to see u do your diagnostic process in real time....👍👍👍👍👍
While trying to film 😆 not easy. Thanks for watching bud!
Awesome job my friend. I would never dare to do live diagnosis. Cheers 👍👍
Thanks for watching Ramon!
Hey brother great video and thank you. can you post a link to those pliers or tool you used at 3:35. Are they a rubber tip at the end or just black in color? Thanks in advance.
And that's how it's done.! Great Job Brotha..
Funny, I was wondering once if you were dealing with a cold or ol Britney was letting us down and changing your voice. Lol
Cheers 🍺🍺 😎 🍺🍺
😂😂😂
Thanks I believe I have the same problem with my ac thank you so much
Cool Mario. Them Honda relays! Like to fail. I had one fail in the on position. Customer said he heard a loud pop, swoosh as the pressure relief valve opened. Yikes
Hey Mario, quick tip for Honda Acura ac. I learned this from Brandon Steckler.
Key on engine off or even at idle. If you press the ac button and the request is enabled , the ac condenser fan WILL come on if you have sufficient refrigerant for ac operation.
So if you have no fan , go ahead and check ac request, you will find it likely disabled due to low refrigerant charge.
If you have fan, the system is trying , you then have a relay or clutch problem.
Thanks again to Brandon Steckler for this quick tip
That's why he's the man! Thanks for sharing bud
Made quick work of that ! 💪👍
thank you.
Quick and efficient diag!
It’s the season! I had a MDX with the same problem and fix today too.
Those pliers you used on the relay look handy. Where did you get them?
Thanks bud! I got these pliers from an Indy tool truck. They're extremely handy, they're literally called relay pliers lol thanks for swinging by!
What were you doing to make the relay click in the panel Mario?
Great video mario!!! Btw is that a new tool box ? 🤔😉😁
😂Yes it is. 😉
The old clicks, but nobody home! Nice!
Nice and easy fix.
The power probe did a good job on this one.
Nice !
Great video Mario. I have found that I can only use hounda AC relay on the AC circuit. I don't know what the difference is but I believe they had a TSB on it. I think there is a little freeze symbol on them.
The original one didn't have one. But i believe your correct with specific relays. Thanks for swinging by!
I have a question, the cold air stop blowing suddenly, the ac compressor is working and the clutch , no fuses blown, relays working, What can be the problem, I know sometimes when you need refrigerant, start blowing less and less cold air, but this time just was fast,
I have 07 odyssey with no ac. I had a local shop replace the compressor and recharged the system with new freon. Now one of my fuse keep blowing out and ac still not cold. The fuse is the magnetic clutch 7.5 amp located in the engine fuse box. When I turn on my ac, the fuse blow out right away. What could be the problem? The new compressor comes with a new clutch already why does it have this issue? Any answer will greatly be appreciated. Thanx.
Thanks Mario.
You got it buddy
More often than not, when I find a failed honda relay, I find the system is partially charged. Now this is just suspicion, but I feel the excess cycling may be prematurally killing the relays.
It worked for me in like 2 minutes! Now how can I tell if the refrigerant is low?
Nice vid and efficient as usual.
I am surprised how easy you made this diagnosis, you found the problem right away.
I treat every relayed circuit this way, thanks for watching
If I have house line AC broke or blower motor cluch it's work or not
Love it bro helped me so much so no I can halo my sis in law and score some points with my GF 😂
Honestly bro good job keep them coming
Nice. Stay cool out there.. =]
In theory, Is it necessary to check for high amp draw on the load sided which might have high resistance causing the relay to go bad, great video Mario now I can justify buying a power probe hook.
I believe these relays are rated at higher amperage than the fuse. Another thing to note, who has the specifications for loaded current draw on a compressor clutch? Definitely not found in SI. Good question bud, thanks for watching!
i check relays using the scope. jumpers from the control side to the battery and load side to my scope showing ohms. should be 0 every time. -Justin Sliwka
Oh yeah plenty of ways to check this one out. I guess you could say this is indirectly testing the relay. Thanks for swinging by Justin! See you around buddy 👍
You should be a pro with ac in Florida. I lived in Clearwater. Caliente 😎
😂 definitely motivated to fix it faster 😉
I have no power when key is on?
👍
So I have an 08 odyssey that blows cold in the rear but warm/ hot in the front, also clutch does engage , but the condenser fan does not turn on. I think that may be the problem. I checked all three relays and they are fine.any ideas on how to get the fan to work?
Have you checked for power and ground at the fan while the clutch is operating?
@@SuperMarioDiagnostics so the fan Is getting power i changed the pressure switch on the ac line and that did the trick for the condenser fan it turned right, but the ac still blows cold in the rear and warn in the front. I'm lost I'm ready to throw in the towel.
@@SuperMarioDiagnostics yes the clutch kicks on and the fan has power
I just signed
All Hondas have problems with ac relay , i have at least 5 allways on stock :)
Where are you located I need a good ac service
Oakland Park, FL
What happens with high pressure side of AC system, when radiator relay is removed? Is there a separate condenser fan?
Yes there are two fans. This system commands both fans to run when the AC is on. The high side might go a bit higher since it cannot convert the gas into liquid as efficiently. My "confirmation" of repair was only a quick swap in order to prove that the relay was the only culprit. Thanks for watching!
Super Mario Diagnostics thanks to come back to me. Danger is, some cars have only one fan, 2 stages. Often stage 1 resistor is faulty. If stage 2 relay is removed, I did this, I got a full blown out pressure relief valve release, hole workshop full of green oil mist. Take care with such tests.
Ouch, yes always be careful with that. Lucky the engine didn't overheat! Thanks for swinging by 👍
Now that was a cool.. get it cool...hahah . Eeezzzy peezzey
I like but what if it doesn't work
What if what doesn't work
dónde eres brother

Dang it, Mario!! 3k subs, 1100 views, and already have TWO THUMBS DOWN!! What the fudge?? You told someone about your CZcams channel before you couldn't fix their car, didn't you?? Probably the same idiots that keep calling ScannerDanner D A N!!! You think I should go have a little chat with them?
