Sascha consistently brings his best tennis to the Laver Cup, especially in the clutch moments.

People in the comments don't know shit about what it means to compete at a high level in any sport. All of these players are competing at the top .0001% of the sport, the skill gap between them isn't as huge as you would like to think. Team Europe is obviously the favorite, but acting like world is trash or that it's some massive mismatch is an oversimplification imo.

John exceeded expectations in this match. Taking the no. 4 ranked player in good form to the super tiebreak is no small feat. It's not his fault the team format is rigged, and his teammates didn't perform as well (I'm talking about you Reilly).

@Vairagya Kyrgios at his best is definitely better then 82. The ranking is not accurate to his ability so it’s not a mismatch, also he beat tsitsipas in the other two meetings so your point doesn’t make a great deal of sense

Isner really needs to switch to a single backhand just like how Sampras did. His lengthy limbs will give him reach and more shot variation, allowing him to reach those low balls better, it would also allow Isner to follow-up his powerful serves with better flow for his net play to put away those volleys. Plus the added swing distance from ball contact will add so much power to his shots it would be unstoppable. Now a double backhand on Isner just jams him up too much. After Samparas switched to single backhand, he became unstoppable, Isner could too.

The American players have become way too one dimensional, lots of tall players with big serves and forehands but terrible backhands and movement. Isner opelka and sock are not good enough to do consistent damage at the big tournaments. America’s future lies in Sebastian Korda who has an amazing game for his age, he will definitely win grand slams in the future especially at Wimbledon where it suits his game.
