I've ben flying the Skyhunter for years and its my go-to platform. Best all rounder and just so reliable. I think most people in the Skyhunter community know mine by now :)
I just wondering is it possible to make it cruise on 5 amps... My plan is to run big prop, and do some modification to keep prop horizontal before landing...

Amazing how far we've come in 30 years, a 6 ft. wingspan/ .40 size aircraft was a trainer,lol , Man I wish we had camera ability back then.
It can carry more capacity than most ebike batteries, that's nuts! In a good way :)

one your cg is off, a smaller prop should have been used for test flight. A real line of sight should have been your first choice. but great videl what motor did you you use?

Since it can carry a butt load of weight, would it be possible to run 18650 lithium ion batteries instead of lipos, get even more duration. 3kg =kwh roughly. Just unsure how many amps this plane motor needs

I have a random question about batteries I just checked the individual cells on one of my life pose and they're all reading out differently that's bad right
Just balance charge it unless one is stupid low like 2.0 or less
So it's a 4S and I checked it off the balance leads and I had some really weird numbers like 4 and 8 and 12

When you say long range, what is the max range, in miles, could you fly away from base ?
Look up what the Russians on CZcams are doing with long range. You’ll be surprised at the range people can achieve.

An 1800 isn't gigantic, you can but rtf Radian XL it is 2400
1800 is normal not gigantic

how is hand launching. Im not the best handlauncher, my nano talon evo can back that up, wreaked in tis box. Id prefer the 1.2m skyhunter but not instock anywhere other then china bangood and its overpriced kit
Well it’s kind of like throwing a javelin. You have to commit with your whole body and arms. Throw it level. NOT straight up. Less learned by me with a crash. More than once.
