Descaling mine right now. Instructions say to pour the solution back into the water container before rinsing with clean water for a second cleaning cycle. It looks like you poured out the solution after the first cleaning cycle.

This video would be helpful with someone saying a few things, like how much water that was.

It is the descaling kit content... u can get it at the Nespresso shop 4free ... at least in Germany... I am sure vinegar/water mixture would work 2.

I usually do the descaling twice, the second time with clean water only. Cuz I am too worried about drinking all that residual descaling chemical fluid into my body. Therefore I do it twice, first time with descaling fluid, second time run it with clean water. Then I'll press lungo button 3 time without adding coffee capsule to further rinse out the machine, but I swear I can still smell that descaling fluid's fragrance even after all these rinsing.

Erik H hello, please do not worry: the solution is just lactic acyd and does not give damage to our body.

vinegar might spoil the internal parts of your machines. It is not recommended that u use vinegar. use nespresso descaling kit or descal(powdered) if you have it in your country.

This is the weirdest descaling I had ever seen. It reminds me some scenes from sci fi or ghost movies,,lol!
