Our Homeiscool lol speak for yourself I have pcos tried for years and still want a baby girl same with my mom she had pcos as well was blessed with 3 girls after multiple invitro segments and cried when my little sister turned out a girl because she already had two and couldnt afford to try again for a boy. People are allowed to have preferences and feel how they want despite your personal experiences

Like I mentioned before, I have learned a lot! Being grateful to God no matter what His will to my life is, it’s one of them. Having 3 kids it’s such a blessing! But I can’t forget about the ones out there trying for their first, for over 15 years; and I can’t forget about the ones for which this blessing has been denied to. If you want to guarantee a boy...douche with baking soda and water right before conception. Literally RIGHT BEFORE. It alkalizes the body so the boy sperm overpowers the girl sperm. NO! I come from a country where people used to think that giving birth to a girl is a curse and I don't take this lightly. I am sorry. If you are expecting, just be happy that you are getting a healthy baby irrespective of whether it is a boy or a girl. I don't find that video funny at all.

Eseercam idk about anyone else but when you go to an ob they inform you about gender disappointment. although that man was just kidding around gender disappointment is still a thing. it does NOT mean the parent isn’t going to love baby girl/boy the same. and it does NOT mean the parents care less about the baby being healthy. at the end of the day you can be upset about things like the sex of a baby as long as you don’t take it out on the baby once he/she is born. there was no point in the comment. no parents are the same and no parents are going to react the same but i do know that majority of parents are extremely grateful for their bundles of joy and they are extremely happy their babies are healthy. you can atleast get your info straight as well before commenting.

Not if you're recording it so that the child could see it later. The child is going to think you didn't want her/him, and probably won't trust how you've treated her up until she finds the video. Or if you subconsciously treat him negatively, the video will justify to him his perception that you didn't want him. Don't film it!

Wonderful that you have that type of relationship with your Mom. Most people should look at their parents as being merely human. But I've seen children who reacted the ways I described with loving parents & parents who outsiders like me could tell weren't thrilled with the kid. But I'm glad you and your Mom have that strong bond.

My grandparents had 4 girls (including my mom). On the second pregnancy my grandfather desperately wanted a boy, he spent the entire 9 months betting with his drinking buddies that it would be a boy. It was another girl. By the time of the 4th pregnancy he was like “I know it’s gonna be another girl”

For my first pregnancy I wanted a boy, but I was soo excited at our gender reveal when pink silly string came out our spray cans. It was just exciting to know the sex of our baby, no matter what it was.

When my aunt found out the gender of her second and the youngest child she cried because the ultrasound technician asked her do you want to know what the baby is in my aunt said only if it's a girl so the ultrasound technician didn't say anything and my aunt started crying looking back she said she's very happy that she had two boys as she wouldn't know what to do with a girl
I think it's okay for parents to feel certain ways if the baby wasn't the gender they were wanting that doesn't mean you stay like that forever it's like when you were a teenager and you wanted this new phone for Christmas and you told your parents you wanted it in Black but when you got it it was white yeah you're a little disappointed it's not color you wanted but you're still happy with the phone

I was a little sad that my second child is a boy. I love my baby and am so happy he is healthy. It took too much pain to have my first. So I do appreciate. Just some people put sooo much stress on how a boy is the only acceptable gender to have and tell me how wrong I am for wanting a daughter. So it pushed my poor hormonal self a little too far. Like come on people. Any expecting family wants a healthy child. No one wants anything to be wrong,but I can understand having a desire for a boy or a girl.

Gender depends on men , they are the ones , that can pass X or Y chromosome. I know a guy that wanted a boy so desperately that divorced his wife, with whom they had a perfectly good marriage, aside from having 3 girls , which was obviously not very thrilling for him. Anyway , time went by , they both remarried and the woman had a boy , while the guy had another girl with his second wife. I laughed so hard , you couldn’t imagine

Oh please, my mum had 3 more kids hoping for a boy each time, and every time it was a girl she was annoyed. She told us all the story and loves us all unconditionally. I don’t feel unloved or like I wasn’t wanted. Sometimes I think people over think these situations. Just because you are not happy about the sex of your baby doesn’t mean you are not going to love your child.

It’s a big family secret that my dad had absolutely no interest in my moms second pregnancy until he found out it was a boy. She had infertility issues, was told she was never going to have kids, so all she wanted was another baby. My dad never worried about it bc he thought, the doctor said she can’t get pregnant so she won’t. He kept saying oh it’s for sure a girl, didnt go to a single doctors appointment, and even when my brother was growing up and was a sassy toddler my dad obviously favored me over him. Now that’s he’s a teenager, my dads obsessed with him. When I was little though I was my dads princess, and now him and I don’t even speak.
