If you win, take the lump sum amount, find a wealth management advisor at a bank and invest it in dividend funds. A 3-4% dividend compounded over 30 years would be at a higher value than the lump sum. In one quarter, your first dividend payment alone would take care of your friends. Don’t spend your principal, spend your returns.
I would take the lump sum and live like a responsible king. You don't know how much time you have left on this earth to enjoy that money.
Well depending on your family situation it might be better to take the annuity payments anyways if you think it's just gonna be blown in a few years if you know you are dying.

You have the same likelihood of hitting 22 reds / blacks on a roulette table in a row.
