They were going to tackle the Dark Phoenix Saga next and then end the series with DOFP. We would have seen, Jean's permanent death, Magneto's redemption, the Brotherhood joining SHIELD as Freedom Force (basically the Marvel version of Suicide Squad), introduction of Emma Frost, Psylocke and Deadpool, Kurt and Rogue reconciling with Mystique, Principal Kelly becoming Mayor Kelly and Wolverine vs Hulk. Evolution deserves a revival more than TAS.

I can also say the same about almost every other character, they have superficial similarities, but really they're their own characters, and i think it's great, you don't need to be comicbook accurate to be good, you just need a good realization of your ideas, and then in time people will come to appricate them.
Finally my boy Toad he may not brush his teeth very often or at all but his heart was always in the right place. Sticking with his bros, being loyal to his one sided crush. He's adorkable and his tongue is not only good for catching flies if you know what I mean. Wanda should've given him chance.
