- Scarlet Witch's main power is the superhuman ability to manipulate chaos magic, given to her by the demon Chthon (imprisoned within Wundagore Mountain) when she was born. Her hexes were, by extension, simple, indirect manifestations of this magic, destabilizing probabilities by inducing chaos. The Scarlet Witch's powers are also connected to her very life force energy, which considerably increased her abilities. However, they are not fully under her conscious control and their effects persist even after Dr. Strange's Eye of Agamotto shut down her mind. Even the combined efforts of the Sorcerer Supreme and Earth's most formidable psychic mind were unable to fully inhibit such effects for long.

There are a lot of people who could over power Thanos. The only reason he was unstoppable in Infinity War was because he had already acquired most of the infinity stones. End Game he came on with none. But she is probably the most powerful Avenger no doubt about it. She technically defeated the avengers by herself in Age of Ultron.
I think it was confirmed that if Thanos hadn’t called for backup, Wanda would have won. But I’m not sure. I think it’s true though.

Everyone forgets how powerful Wanda really is. When she uses her power to the full extent, not even the Avengers or X-men can stop her. She made an entire race of people disappear with three words. She mind controlled a majority of earth's mightiest heroes. Reality is literally under her control. Easily one of the most powerful superheroes ever created, along with Dr Manhattan and the Spectre

@@TheGreatMeme He's extremely powerful, but he's no mutant. He had to train for years to become as powerful as he is and even then, is still teathered by the Eye of Agamotto. Wanda was born as powerful as she is and is not really weak to anything physically. The difference between the two is that Doctor Strange doesn't let his emotions affect his magic the way that Wanda does, making him seem like the more refined magic user. Wanda has more raw power, but Doctor Strange is just better at using his magic

Wolverine and the X-Men's costume for Scarlet Witch actually is pretty good. It had the mage cloak aesthetic that matches with her iconic headpiece. So it was stylish, not overly-sexualized, and still adhered to her traditional look

In WandaVision, Agatha said the Scarlet Witch is not born, she's forged and also how its her destiny to surpass the Sorcerer Supreme in power and destroy the world.
X-Men Evolution version will always be my number 1. The gothic style, blue powers, and ambiguity of her abilities made her very cool.
Elizabeth Olsen's version is a close second for me.
The iron man show version is like Natasha or Mystique.

I wish the MCU touched more on the telepathy side of her powers, especially seeing as there isn't really any other well established telepath in the main universe. It seems like they mostly forgot about it until they could sneak it in, like near the end of WandaVision and with her battle with Charles Xavier.

In the MCU she starts with more strength in her passive abilities and starts using her offensive powers in the AOU battle. Then continues to use her offensive powers making them stronger as we see her projectiles grow in size and vibrancy. Then by endgame she has pretty much mastered them at her pre scarlet witch stage as there very bright and big. Then wandavision you see her use both passive and offensive powers on such a high scale that she becomes scarlet witch

i don’t know if it was in apocalypse but in one of the movies, Wolverine, the Prof., and Beast went to visit Peter/Pietro Maximoff. there was a little girl (probably Lorna Dane) who got told by her mother to “go bother your sister”, which most likely refers to a teenage Wanda. we don’t see this Wanda, but it’s a small reference though.
