Man, this guy is awesome. You can just tell that he’s competent and a decent person. I’m sick of working with a holes .I’m having him drop in a Texas Speed coyote short block.

So is there not much to be gained by changing the camshaft on these Coyotes? I love the sound of those Detroit Camshafts on the 3V Mustangs. Is it possible to get that same sound with a coyote?

I love this project! High mileage, modified and raced prove the reliability. I would love to build a ‘13-‘14 like this and daily it, even in winter. The Vortech (and Blizzaks) should make it livable in the snow since it wouldn’t hit as hard down low like a PD blower.

How much it cost the parts and whats the compression?

Gen 1 2014 Track Pack Coyote here.. getting a Whipple 3.0..

My gen 2 motor has low compression on cylinder 5. Going to rebuilt short block , I don't have big budget but going with forged pistons upgrade ringlands and reusing the rods and minor head porting with valve train work. What are your thoughts.

Whats up with this car? I have a rods/piston 14 w/ JTB 15%, 3.0 that makes 19psi and only runs 6 sec 60-130 times. I would love to see what this car does to compare. I am changing out the vortech intercooler to see if that helps.

You say that the Manley assembly is lighter. Prove it because I have weight them both and Manley is heavier

  • @zaksrdanovich9649

Can you swap gen 3 heads onto a early gen 1 coyote from 2012 and below with 12mm headstuds?
