Just saw you on you tube at the homesteaders festival last week end with Jes and the two ladies from faith homestead and freedom song..ok I think you 4 ladies are my Fav. Look forward to more content. And that high tunnel looks FABULOUS!! one thing I’ve notice is a lot of Christian homesteaders and that’s so wonderful.

    Girlie, I would love some of your rain. It hasn’t rained here, NE Mississippi in a couple of weeks and the heat is through the roof. Heat index yesterday was 112, today is 107, tomorrow is 106. It is unbearable trying to get any work done outside.

    I watch CZcams to chill after work, not really to learn most of the time, though sometimes you have some really practical efficient ways of doing things I find interesting.
    Unfortunately not much gardening is fitting into my life at the moment as I am focusing on other things, here in Australia after the floods.
    My garden at our flood effected property has self seeded and is growing great without me.
    I go there to pick cucumbers and the tomatoes look like they will produce in winter.

    @sharonknorr1106 Před 2 lety +1

    BT is not effective against aphids. Jill may have misspoke or it is just the force of the water spray that is knocking them off. Giving the plants a hard spray with water is usually the best first line of attack for these nasty little pests. If it's really bad, I then go with Neem oil. Used ladybugs to good effect this year in my small greenhouse - was so happy they had them in stock at my local nursery this spring, much preferred to using anything like Neem.
