We will be reviewing how to find maximum and minimum values, how to use the Mean Value Theorem, Derivative Graphs, L’Hospital’s Rule, Optimization, Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, Indefinite Integrals, and U-substitutions.

Hey josh, quick question. I've been studying for my calc final and your videos have been so much help because my final is coming up in a few days, the only thing I have a question on is when solving for definite integrals, how can you identify when to use u- substitution and use dy/dx=(dy/du)(du/dx) at 1:31:46 and when to use method of taking the anti-derivate of the function to solve for it at 1:36:25 thanks!
why is x=1 a local min when its an inflection point it also seems to change concavity. Shouldnt local max or mins= DNE?

Hey Ludus, quick question on 1:46:50. How did (u+1) become u^3/2?
You can call me Josh if you want lol. I apologize for not explaining this in enough depth, and I also don't know why I decided to record this video without the lights on.. so weird lol.
Anyways during that step we have a u+1 being multiplied by rad(u). If you rewrite rad(u) as u^(1/2), you might be able to see how, when we distribute that u^(1/2) to the u+1, we get u*u^(1/2)+u^(1/2). This simplifies to u^(3/2)+u^(1/2).
