    Enjoying this greatly. While I do dearly love my other restoring boat channels that have taken years to get where there are (it takes a village and not everyone has said village immediately at hand). It is rather amazing to watch a shop with many skilled individuals and a deadline rip through a project and restore a hsitoric vessel.

  • @s1nb4d59

    Why in record time?seemed a shame you couldn't use some of the original wood structure as it essentially is the heart of the ship ive seen many rebuilds of old wooden ships,it seemed a shame. (p.s. those pieces you thru away could have gone as whole museum exhibits.)

    • @FavouriteBoatworks
      @FavouriteBoatworks  Před měsícem

      Lots of the wood is rotten or filled with spores that will rot the new wood. The speed of the project is dictated by the fact that it’s a privately owned vessel with limited budget.

    Yes, I would like to keep in touch as interesting project. However, while the making of videos may not have the same priority as the work progresses, as a viewer, and a subscriber, it would be helpful if it were possible to stick to a schedule, say every second week, rather than appearances seeming to be random. I am looking forward to ep 12. When is that due? Thanks.

      @@FavouriteBoatworks Ok, so I now understand that next North Star episode, number 12, will be 7th June. The one showing on the 24th May is another boat, and not one that I am following, nice as it maybe. Now realise the videos are about Favourite Boatworks and whatever is happening there every other week, and not just focused on North Star. 🙂
