I thought about the Forest River Hyper Lite 19HFS but the bathroom countertop in the Hyper Lite looks really cheap compared to the Jayco. I think this is the one - thanks for the help.

Put cargo net above the closet to retain your helmets. Wire a 12 volt light in the bathroom. Put another deep cycle battery on the rack next to your generator. Cover or lock down the battery and generator. And mod the “bedroom “ to your taste. No sweat!
You are looking at things from only your perspective, if you get a girl friend someday you will change your perspective on having a bed that has to be run down or is always ready for a nap. If you have a couple little rug rats you will have a different perspective again. Get some tool or dish cloth to keep things from sliding. Marine carpet is actually really good at being the bottom non skid for the cabinets. Helmet can go on the cabinet in the corner you just set it up there, or leave it in the quad or what ever you run. They always need to be made your own as people have such a variety in flavor of what they want. Have fun make it what you want and enjoy going out there. Be Safe.

Where are you storing your helmets? We have a quad and Harleys and are in the market for a toy hauler. Not sure what direction to go..
I have the 2016 version we use a couple folding camp chairs to watch tv the bench seats just are angled right at all and the heat gets super hot in the bathroom and the rest of rv is cold I guess its where the thermostat is otherwise it tows really well I like it I go by myself most of time so towing and backing up is easy
There is an inch and a half flip around the tray does it sit on top of the lip or does it sit inside of the edges on the tray that's what I'm asking you and thank you for your reply so I appreciate it I looked at them they're so heavy and it looks so big that's why I want to know if it fits inside the trade inside the

Thanks for the video. I'm almost sold. Some of your suggestions would make this a great r.v as a special order.

woofman you can't go wrong with forrest river either to be honest. My needs were that my hauler had to get into tight spaces and also light enough to get me out of muddy parking. I've slept up to 4 people comfortably. You definitely don't need the bigger AC unit unless you're in a desert environment. I have the sealed bottom and I can heat the whole trailer with a little electric ceramic heater from Walmart. I literally have no complaints other than the layout could be better for guys who wrench like me. It's a little short on storage. It could use a closet.
we live in west central florida,, i am from maine,, heat won't be an issue for me in winter,, i like it cold,, but jayco does have the enclosed underneath,, i have a 4x4 truck so pulling either is no problem,, but the forest river sits lower and is a little narrower ,, we've been in a 22rr, after this coming sunday once we see a jayco,,, then we'll decide
I don't know how you can compare this jayco to the work and play. the work and play will still be here when the jayco is in an r v junk yard. if you had a smaller work and play to compare. you would see the difference in quality. thanks for your post and opinion. I wish I could afford both.

Hi. Can you tell me about the bed that lowers in the back? Does it lower all the way down? I have only ever seen it as a bunk bed but I would need it to lower as far as possible (maybe rest on top of the flattened sofa seats). Thanks again for your help! You have inspired us to look into getting one so you are awesome!
casey unangst you can take the bottom seats out and it'll lower all the way down. There are brass stoppers that prevent it from going all the way down that can be removed.

It is all what you want and need. Do you have others going with or will you be alone, what are you hauling? What do you have to tow it with, your tow vehicle will have a max towing AND a max cargo and you can not exceed them. On many vehicles if you pack much gear or if you have a few people go with you blow the cargo capacity before you even hook up the trailer. If you have a half tn you need to think shorter if you are driving a bigger truck check the numbers you may not have the truck to tow what you want to tow.

Your Octaine Toy hauler Iv looked at a lot of toy haulers and it puzzles me ..?? the seating in the back SUCK'S OUT LOUD !!!! I USE TO Moto cross and after a day of pounding my self to death i would like a comfortable chair or a couch.. ???? Not one of theses things are built for comfort " May be im the OLD CODGER 64 YR lol . but these things are not thought out all that well ...... you have to get a 30' + footer & 80 million ton truck to,,, have critter comforts ...i would shit can the roll down bed and put a couple of recliners in there .... BUT im still looking nice vid

Lisa Male check that your hose leading to the hauler under the bed isn't ripped or blocked. It may have come loose.

How much headroom is in the shower? Looks a little low. We've been considering this model, but have not been able to see one in person. Good review.
I'm 6' and I fit fine. My buddies who are taller have no issues.
Not sure why you purchased the Jayco with lots of other brands and options around especially with not sounding happy of your purchase.

I can’t find this spec anywhere, how much height clearance is there for the cargo? With the bench seats and the queen bed above, it looks very low.
