    I’ve noticed that with my cellular version, when i leave my phone at home even though I get my calls I don’t receive text messages. Still worth it but thought I’d point that out for future watchers. Thanks for the content keep on keepn on 😎👊👊👊👊

      This can be fixed you need to go on your iMessage on your phone then change the setting to your Apple ID and not your phone number

    Great Point about the need to make sure you have the same carrier between phone and watch. I have a Dual-SIm unlocked with both VZ and ATT, can i use an ATT or VZ watch with it?

    If I get the GPS version and leave the house without my phone, but let’s say I go to a restaurant with WiFi. Is this also enough? Or do I always need to bring my phone with me for text messages and receiving calls? Thanks.

      yes you can call and text on both watches. If you have the cellular model you dont need your phone. If you have the GPS model you need your phone with you.

    I'd love to buy an SE 2 so I can leave the iphone at home when I come to work but I'm afraid the battery won't last all those hours with the cellular on. I still use an Apple Watch Serie 2 :)

    I simply can’t afford the cellular version but I always have my phone on me anyway, would you say it’s still worth getting the 7 but without the cellular mode?

      if your phone is always close by, sure you can just get the GPS one.

      I’m thinking of buying the series 7 with both gps & cellular but do I have to use the cellular function or can I just use the gps function please? It’s just that I’d like to have both function available to me but at the moment I don’t need to be able to make/receive calls on my watch!!       If your phone is nearby you definitely don’t need the cellular version. Not worth the extra $100.

    The size is a issue for me right now. I feel the 41mm is the perfect size, but when it comes to texting on it, the keyboard is small. And I feel the 45mm might be too big for me. uggghhhhhhh. I'm not sure. I might end up returning the 41mm and getting the 45mm.

      @@InsideWire Yes, when I can't use my phone. I went to the Apple store to see the 45mm and try it on though! I like the screen size , but feel its big. Apple employee said I had the wrist for the 45mm but I feel like I can't function with a screen that big on my wrist. Wish Apple made a 43mm size though. That would be perfect!

    So basically with iPhone nearby both GPS & Cellular versions are exactly same and also all the features and functions remains same but if I don’t have my iPhone with me then on GPS only version I won’t be able to make calls or send text or use internet but all other features remains same right ??

    If you have a cellular version (stainless only comes in cellular) but don’t have a cellular plan is there any benefits or functionality that cellular model (with no cell plan) has over the GPS version ?

      There is no additional function other than being about to activate cellular.

      Whenever I had my Samsung smartwatch I had to get a different number for the watch. You can’t use your same phone number

      On tmobile, I have the option for either. I could get another number, $20 per month, or use my existing number for $10 per month.

      Let’s make it easier according to today’s date! You have Series 4, that’s basically an Apple Watch SE, that just doesn’t has ECG, but has always on altimeter, as compared to Series 4. SINCE YOU ALREADY HAVE ECG in your series 4, only difference is the always on altimeter, which you’ll anyways get if you buy the new series 7. Now answering your question, I’m helping you by suggesting you to watch newer Apple Watch SE vs Series 7 videos on CZcams to get the best idea of the differences between the 2. Thanks 😊

    If I get the gps version, on the Apple website it says in order for it to work I need it to be paired with my iPhone through Bluetooth but also connected to the wifi. So my question is, if I leave my home, I won’t be connected to the wifi anymore, will I still be able to use all the features of the gps version if I’m only connected through Bluetooth?

      If you leave your phone at home and only have the GPS version, it wont work, you can track fitness stuff and listen to offline music but not much more than that.
      If your phone has no data and you have GPS version, same thing applies as above.

      Nog necessarily. You can download music from Spotify or Apple Music to your device. So you could listen to music without the iPhone on the GPS version.

    So you can’t use the cellular one without a carrier I thought u just connected the Apple Watch to Bluetooth and u was able to make and receive phone calls as long as ur phone had service so that’s not how it works?

      Thats exactly how it works. You can have the cellular model and not have any plan activated and it works via bluetooth from your phone.

      Your watch connects to your phone via bluetooth so as long as you have a connection it will work fine.

    the stainless steel option is a lot more money, is the stainless steel that much stronger? Stainless steel is not an expensive metal but it is priced that way.

      Well, look at the Rolex Submariner $7500 for 904L stainless steel which is more than a Tudor in Titanium. most high end sports watches that hold their value are in stainless steel and not Ti or aluminum. However Aluminum can be almost as tough as stainless steel depending on the type they're using. People instantly think aluminum is weak because of soda cans but aluminum is used at aircraft grade levels and is penty strong enough to go on your wrist. I'm not sure what type of aluminum and stainless steel Apple uses but I'm sure they're both solid.

      If you always carry your phone then you don’t need to worry about the cellular version. Yes you can take it on safari not sure how much service you would get though.

      If you are with EE then you have to speak to EE about activating the plan for your cellular watch. If you have a GPS version, you dont need to do anything.

    If I buy a cellular version, will it work via wifi with the phone even if the plan for it hasn’t been activated or does it only work with a plan? Im thinking of getting an apple watch cellular version but not really sure if I need to get the plan. I would like to get the cellular version but not activate the plan immediately. I just want to have that option just in case I realize if I really need it. Thank you!

      You can pre-load your apple music playlist into the GPS variant before you run.

      @@goldfarmerfx Yes you can connect your airpods to GPS verison, yes it will track your running without your phone nearby because it still has all the gps and other built in functionalities that it uses to assess your workouts. the only difference is that with cellular, if you leave your phone home, you can still get calls/texts/data. but without cellular, you wouldn't have access to calls/texts/data because you left your phone home
